While tonal offerings of the new Nike Air Presto Flyknit Ultra released today, more colorways of the silhouette are expected to arrive throughout the season as well.

Highlighted is this two-tone variation, which features black across its intricately knitted upper and the addition of crimson gracing the underlays, distinctive TPU heel cage and lacing apparatus. The vibrant tone is also applied on the lining of the sock-like collar and miniature Swoosh logo on the sole unit to further pronounce the profile.

To complement the bold, yet eye-catching palette, a clean white midsole is adhered to the base, which is outfitted with a contrasting black outsole.

Following a white/blue colorway, another variation of the Nike KD 8 Elite that will be worn by Kevin Durant throughout the 2016 NBA Playoffs is showcased.

Unlike the aforementioned pair, this version is dressed in a more subdued tone with navy dominating its upper, distinctive calf-length compression sock and outsole. Offset by clean white gracing the midsole and heel section, the silhouette is further pronounced with touches of light blue utilized of the Swoosh branding and laces.

This new colorway of the Nike Kyrie 2 may just make your mouth water a bit.

Nike has teamed up with Krispy Kreme donuts to release a special Ky-rispy Kreme colorway of the Nike Kyrie 2. This special pair of Kyrie 2s features a combination of white, green and bright red that’s inspired by the Krispy Kreme logo and boxes. As you can see in the images the shoes are housed in a special Nike Ky-rispy Kreme donut box to coincide with the theme. According to Nike PR Director Heidi Burgett, the special Nike Ky-rispy Kreme truck that houses all of the sneakers will be making stops in Cleveland, Baltimore, Harlem and Brooklyn, and will be available in limited quantities. So if you’re anywhere in these areas make sure you’re on the lookout for this donut sneaker truck.

I think we can all agree that on a surface level, the idea of grafting the iconic look of the Air Jordan 3 Black Cement with Nike Air (which might be coming back next year) onto another silhouette is a little silly. Some say it’s a lazy thing to do while others might argue that it’s simply capitalizing yet again on our love for anything associated with classic Air Jordans. Kobe Bryant and Roger Federer might say they are fans of MJ and designer Tinker Hatfield, but that doesn’t mean they have to basically do it Diddy style and take a hit from the 80s and apply it to their own signature kicks. However, despite all of the pontification about purity, the sneaker community (and that includes hypebeasts, resellers, actual sneakerheads, etc.) has proven that all of the talk doesn’t matter; if it’s good, people will buy it and resell it.

In this edition of Clash Of The Kicks, we are taking at look at two of the highest profile kicks to liberally borrow from the Air Jordan 3 Black Cement, 2014’s Nike Zoom Vapor AJ3 in the Black Cement colorway and today’s release of the Nike Kobe 11 Tinker, which is basically a Black Cement colorway sans the Jumpman. Both kicks came to being in different ways – the Kobe 11 Tinker was the designer’s “contribution” the Muse Pack while Zoom Vapor AJ3 was a NikeLAB/Jordan Brand joint – but they came to the same conclusion that the Air Jordan 3 Black Cement is so damn good it can work anywhere.
