Nike LeBron Soldier 10 White/Gum

LeBron James will be on top of the basketball world for quite some time after the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history. Because of feat, the Nike LeBron Soldier 10 couldn’t have been introduced at a better time and now the summer will be filled with a number of notable colorways. After a Black/Gum colorway told us to “Strive For Greatness”, this clean White/Gum colorway shows that the Soldier series may just make its way off the court and into the lifestyle realm. The bolstered perforated mesh adds ventilation similar to that found on the LeBron 13 Low while three straps allow for the model to ditch a lacing system entirely. What do you think of this clean White/Gum combination? Check out a full view below and be on the lookout for this LeBron Soldier 10 to arrive at retailers later this summer.

The Nike Air Force 180 Olympic Is Releasing Soon

Charles Barkley dominated international play when he suited up for the Dream Team back in 1992 and 1996. Chuck was not only the team’s leading scorer but put up a ridiculous shooting percentage – over 70% from the field – meaning he basically could do whatever he wanted on the court against worldly opponents. He did so lacing up the Nike Air Force 180, one of the loudest Olympic-themed sneakers released at the time thanks to a gold gradient on the midsole and splashes of navy and red throughout the upper. The chunky silhouette featured a lockdown midfoot strap, visible air, and a sleek neoprene on the heel and tongue for a truly unique look. Since it’s an Olympic year, Nike is bringing back the iconic Olympic colorway later this summer. This Chuck classic is available right now internationally and will hit stateside stores July 7th for $140 USD. Check out more photos below and let us know if you’re a fan of the model by taking your thoughts to the comments section.

A Preview Of The Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 White Gum

Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 1

The Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 Black Gum released yesterday in quickstrike fashion, and now, the newly-introduced basketball silhouette which was James’ go-to pair for winning the 2016 NBA Finals, is set to be released in a white colorway.

The pristine hue essentially covers the flexible, stretch-lined upper, and it?s aesthetic is further defined by the application of straps on the forefoot, midfoot and ankle for superior lockdown and support.

All adhered atop a durable gum outsole that also complements its makeup, you can find this pair at select Nike retailers soon for $150.

Stay tuned for further updates.

Author’s Take

Just like I shared before, since LeBron won his first championship with Cleveland by wearing this silhouette, it’ll be a pretty significant model as the years go by. I’m not a fan of the sneaker in general, but this colorway is nice.

A Sneak Peek Of The Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit Multicolor

Nike Air Presto Nike Air Presto 1

A glimpse of a multicolored Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit has surfaced online, as it only hints that we’ll be seeing this silhouette sometime this season.

Defined by its intricately knitted upper, the thematic element is essentially focalized on the upper, which features vibrant tones of red, green, orange and more that’s juxtaposed against its black-out base.

Further detailed with its distinctive TPU caging system and a mid-cut collar that offers more comfort and protection, a release date for this pair has not been announced yet.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates.

Author’s Take

I’ve been waiting on this colorway and it looks solid so far. I like how the overall build has been blacked-out mostly.

This is one of my favorite bball silhouettes aside from Jordans. I?m a fan of the colorway, but it?s too bright for my taste. I?m sure these will garner a lot of attention ? on purpose or not.

Nike KD 9 Nike KD 9 1 Nike KD 9 2

Following the release of the Nike KD 9 in its inaugural colorway, Kevin Durant’s newest signature basketball sneaker is set to be offered in a more vibrant iteration this season.

Defined by its flyknit composition, a mixture of bright hues such as yellow, green, orange and red adorn the chainlink structured upper, which is juxtaposed against a black base. Additional vibrance is provided by neon accents gracing the Swoosh, tongue tab and frontal portion of the outsole, while bright pink covers the remainder of the translucent sole unit.

Author’s Take

I like this new model and the colorway looks solid. If only the pink sole and volt swoosh were absent, I’d consider purchasing.

Nike Remembers The 3D All-Star Shoes With Upcoming Kobe 11 Release

It’s still strange to think that the next NBA season will start in a few months without Kobe Bryant. Nike Basketball isn’t moving on from the Black Mamba anytime soon and it will be interesting to see how the brand transforms his imprint post-retirement in the years to come. The Nike Kobe 11 is still putting in work this summer, and the latest colorway references one of Kobe Bean’s All-Star shoes from the past with this 3D graphic upper. The Nike Kobe 6 featured a rather similar print complete with alternating Swoosh colors of Gamma Blue and Team Red. Here the jarring detail couldn’t work better on the Kobe 11. What do you think of the look? Check out a full view below and stay tuned for a release date right here on Sneaker News in the coming days.

Theres Another Nike KD 9 Multi-Color Releasing

Kevin Durant‘s busy off-season won’t just be defined by his free-agency as the success of the upcoming KD 9 is imminent. The Flyknit construction, lightweight ride, and ability to be worn casually off-court will elevate Durant’s latest to new heights especially considering the price dropped all the way down to $150 USD. While a Multi-Color pair was previewed at the Nike Innovation Event, it won’t be releasing at retail, but you can expect this alternate upcoming KD 9 “Multi-Color” to arrive later this summer. While the yellow and purple accents might hint at some sort of Lakerland signing, it’s all about the black base and Multi-Color threads on the chainlink structured Flyknit base. What do you think of the look? Continue onward for more photos after the break and be sure to check out our KD and Leo Chang KD 9 Interview for more details regarding Kevin’s latest signature model.

In honor of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1‘s 20th anniversary and the classic ?Griffey for President? advertising campaign, the silhouette has been treated in a special colorway that emits the political stance with a patriotic vibe.

Dressed in midnight navy across its nubuck upper, team red adorn the laces and visible full-length sole unit, while a white midsole and gum outsole rounds out the overall profile. The theme is further evident with a modernized ?Griffey for President? campaign button on the heels, in addition to stars and stripes pull tabs.

Author’s Take

I’m a fan of retro sneakers and this silhouette is one of them. I bought the emerald-colored pair years ago and this colorway is another solid option. Plus the theme is cool.

An Initial Look At Louis Vuittons Kim Jones Nike Sneaker

Nike 1 Nike Nike 2 Nike 3

To follow-up on a sneak peek that was showcased yesterday, Louis Vuitton?s artistic director, Kim Jones, and his collaboration with NikeLab is given another preview, as it debuted today at LV’s fashion show during Paris Fashion Week.

Featuring the Kim Jones x NikeLab Air Zoom LWP, the silhouette is noted to be a modernized iteration of its 1995 counterpart, which is actually the first running shoe to incorporate Zoom Air technology. This interpretation, however, incorporates a sleek upper that takes cues from the Air Zoom LWP.

Dipped in a predominantly white finish with beige accents on the rear, you can expect to find this pair and the entire collaboration at select NikeLab stockists in July.

Stay tuned for further updates.

Author’s Take

The modern take looks solid but I guess I’m just biased since I’m into runners. This colorway is obviously appealing and stylish. I wonder if there will be other neutral colorways.

A New Colorway Of The Nike Kobe 11 Is On The Way

Nike Kobe 11 Nike Kobe 11 1

Following the Nike Kobe 11 Sunset, Bryant’s last on-court sneaker is set to be offered in another colorway this season.

While the silhouette has been crafted in engineered mesh and flyknit, this pair, however, seems to be composed of a textile material which is defined by a vibrant graphic that’s somewhat reminiscent of the “3D” Kobe 6.

Finished off with a slightly translucent white sole unit, stay tuned to KicksOnFire for the availability of this forthcoming pair.

Author’s Take

I’m actually a little creeped out with the pattern. I’m not a fan of it, but, I do like the silhouette overall.

Detailed Look At The Return Of Penny Hardaways Olympic Nike Zoom Flight 96

1990’s basketball sneaker nerds have much to be delighted about this summer, as at least three of Nike’s best Olympics colorways of the ’92 and ’96 summer games are making a comeback. Charles Barkley’s Dream Team version of the Air Force 180? Check. Scottie Pippen’s even bolder Olympic colorway of the Air More Uptempo? You bet. And completing the trifecta of memorable Olympic retros (that we know about so far, anyway) is a reproduction of Penny Hardaway’s PE version the Zoom Flight ’96. Switching from his Air Penny 1 to the Zoom Flight for the 1996 summer games, Penny helped Team USA secure another gold medal in this white and navy version similar to the general release colorway, just with Penny’s Olympic #6 stitched in gold on each heel. Get your best look yet at the shoe in case you need convincing to pick up a pair, and find them at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Solefly beginning July 7, 2016.

Our First Look At The Womens Nike Kwazi

NIKE KWAZI 8 NIKE KWAZI 7

You can’t forget about the ladies, right? Nike is also going to release exclusive women’s colorways of the Nike Kwazi. Opting to differentiate themselves from the men’s offerings, the Nike Kwazi ditches the tonal look and comes in a two-toned color scheme.

Our first look shows that the shoe appear to remain true to form. In other words, the construction, build and materials used on the women’s version is the same as the mens. The only difference (and it’s a big one) is that fact that the shoe does not come in a tonal colorway. The men have the choice of Red, Black and Blue. The first women’s colorway comes in Black and White. The use of two colorways gives the shoe a brand new look since the sharp contrast helps break up the upper from the sole. Ladies, are you feeling the new look on your Nike Kwazi? Expect these to drop sometime in the near future.

Author’s Take

It’s too generic looking for me. Not really a fan of the long tongue and the large midsole kind of gives is a basketball shoe feel. Easy pass on my end.
