For quite some time now we’ve known that a sequel of the beloved Nike Roshe Run was in the works. While we do know the shoe will be releasing sometime this year, Nike has yet to provide any type of info or images of the shoe. The latest rumor suggest that the shoe you see above is that Nike Roshe 2.

The supposed Nike Roshe 2 appear to keep the same blueprint while only changing a few things here and there. New features include the sock construction and a new lacing system. If this were to be the Roshe 2, would you be fine with that or disappointed?

The 1996 Summer Olympics took place in Atlanta, Georgia exeatly 20 years ago. Damn that makes me feel old, but that’s beside the point. Nike is going to release a pair of the Nike Air Trainer SC High that commemorates the 20th anniversary of those Summer Olympics.

This limited-edition sneaker comes with a design that celebrates the colors and logos of the Atlanta games. The Nike Air Trainer SC High comes with an Emerald upper done in a suede leather. Offsetting the tonal look are the Gold accents that symbolize the the main gold of the games, the Gold medal. Additional features include the unique branding on the tongue consisting of an embroidered peach representing Atlanta, Georgia, and NIKE branding on the other tongue. Laurel wreaths are placed on the heel to give it that Olypic feel, all while having the shoe sitting on top of a translucent sole speckled with colors from the vintage emblem. Releasing on July 19th. Who’s looking to get a pair ?

Great themed sneaker. I’m not a huge fan of the model, but it does look good in this make up. That outsole looks amazing!

Like the Nike Flyknit Racer, the Flyknit Air Max seems like it’s going to be a model that keeps releasing in new colorways forever. Until we get some kind of update for either of Nike’s popular Flyknit constructed runners, there will still be plenty of more appealing new colorways to look forward to, like these three new versions of the women’s Flyknit Air Max in your choice of vibrant blue and pink or jade and violet mixes, or a more neutral take in an “Oreo” black and white weave. Preview all three new colorways of the women’s Flyknit Air Max here, and expect them at Nike running retailers later this summer.

Nike’s Big Window classic is back with an updated construction. The Nike Air Classic BW featured the largest visible air unit on any Air Max model when introduced in 1991, thus the “BW” in its name, and with vibrant colorways like the original “Persian Violet” and more, it was definitely a crowd pleaser. Nike Sportswear has brought back the model in a number of original looks, but now we’re getting an update in the Nike Air Classic BW Ultra SE. The slimmed down outsole unit sheds some weight, while a unique upper ditches the numerous side panels for a streamlined, modern touch. A handful of new colorway of the Nike Free Inneva Woven 2 have recently bee introduced. One of those colorways happens to be the Obsidian colorway you see above. Although it may not be as bright or vibrant as some of the other options, this Obsidian colorway will still get the job done.

The shoe comes win a woven constructed upper done in an Obsidian colorway. In addition, nubuck overlays are placed on the side panels as well as on the heel for a premium motif. Giving it more of a luxe feel is the leather lining coming in the same tonal fashion. A matching full-length rubber sole unit and tonal laces round out the look of the shoe. You can buy this pair at select Nike retailers overseas such as BSTN. A stateside release is surely on the way. The Summer Olympics are fast approaching. If you’re someone who loves sneakers as much as I do, it’s a must to have several Olympic-themed sneakers to wear during this time of the year. One route you can take is picking up the Nike Air Pegasus ?92 Olympic.

The Nike Air Pegasus 92 comes in an OG colorways hat made its debut 24 years ago.  It comes with a predominantly white upper with red, gold and blue accents to complete the Olympic/USA theme. A Red Nike Swoosh is placed on the side panels, while the branding on the tongue and heel comes with USA branding on it. Out now, make sure you scoope up a pair of these bad boys for $115.

I like the USA branding on the tongue and heel. It fits the theme. With that being said, it fits the theme so well, I don’t think I’d be able to wear them once the Olympics are over.

Nike has collaborated with Jun Takahashi on what is known as the Nike Gyakusou collection. This collection was made possible due to Nike’s partnership with Japanese designer Jun Takahashi. One part of the collection are the shoe you see on the feet of Allyson Felix, the Nike athlete who owns six Olympic medals. Felix wore a one-off Gyakusou version of the Nike Zoom Superfly Flyknit spike. She managed to wear it while winning the women’s 400m race at the USATF Olympic Trials on Sunday in Eugene, Ore. Felix was blessed with two exclusive Gyakusou spikes, the one you see above in Black and Gold and a White and Blue pair. Want to see the spikes in action? Felix will take to the track at the USATF Olympic Trials again on Friday for the first round of the women’s 200m at 6:30 p.m. EDT.

The Nike Zoom Mercurial Flyknit Spiridon is a hybrid derived from the Nike Mercurial Superfly and the Nike Spiridon. A few colorways of the shoe have already dropped, but today we get out first look at the shoe donning the Squadron Blue colorway.

Taking the tonal route, the shoe i a high-top sneaker constructed of Nike’s Flyknit material. A little bit of leather is used to house the heel counter of the shoe. Below the woven upper you will find a White Zoom-cushioned midsole we’re used to seeing on the Spiridon model. Below that is a translucent rubber outsole. The Nike Swoosh on the toe also comes in a Blue hue, as does the sock-like upper. Said to be dropping in the near future check back to find out when this shoe gets a release date.

I like the look of the shoe and this colorway is pretty nice. It’s just that these type of high-top shoes don’t really look good on me. Damn.

These limited time options have the shoe come in KD’s colors of his new team, the Golden State Warriors. Blue, Yellow and White hues are placed on the shoe and to tell you the truth, it makes the shoe look pretty dope. Aside from the team colors, NIKEiD also added a multicolor Flyknit option that can be seen one the front portion of the White and Blue pair. Want to create pair? A cool $195 will allow you to do so, just make sure you do it soon since these options are only for a limited time.

When you talk about the Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit the last week or so has been dominated by the Olympic colorway that had lots of people hitting up their local retailers and grabbing a pair.

The next colorway that should be getting some attention is this Georgetown pair that we see above. This new Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit features a College Navy Flyknit upper with grey and white detailing on the midsole, collar, side panel/heel cago, and the toe cap. Already arriving at select international retailers, it should only be a matter of time until these hit the US. What are your thoughts on this colorway? Do you plan on copping?

Earlier today we received an official look at the Air Jordan 2 that will be a part of this year’s Quai 54 Collection. Now we have just found out that the Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit will also be joining in on the fun.

Seen above for the first time, the Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit Low Quai 54 features a Black and White Flyknit upper with Gold detailing present on the Nike branding on the tongue and the Quai 54 logos on the heel and lace dubrae. Leather has been placed on the Swoosh, heel tab, and tongue while a white sole unit completes the look on this otherwise simple colorway of the Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit.

The Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit Low Quai 54 is currently scheduled to release overseas on July 16, 2016. There is no information on a US release date yet but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Being that this is a Quai 54 release I expected more. I feel like this colorway already released with the exception of the gold hits and the Quai 54 branding. Not impressed at all.

Last week we saw the release of the Nike KD 9 Premiere which features a patriotic color scheme of white, red, and blue. Tomorrow comes the next installment in the KD 9 series with this colorway that keeps things simple.

Known as the Nike KD 9 Mic Drop, this colorway of the KD 9 comes equipped with a Black and White Flyknit upper and additional White accents on the Swoosh and KD branding. The name “Mic Drop” comes from Kevin Durant’s deep love for music and the “mic drop” moments that Kevin has had on and off the court.

Releasing on July 9th for a retail price of $150, will you be adding this KD 9 to your collection?

We’ve seen all kinds of materials land on the Nike Air Huarache including mesh, neoprene, leather, croc, and others.

The latest take on the classic runner from Nike takes on a full suede upper that aims for an elegant and sophisticated look. The entire shoe is covered in Neutral Grey with the upper being done in suede and the inner sock/bootie being done in the traditional neoprene material. A milky translucent heel counter and tonal detailing on the laces and sole unit complete the look on this Air Huarache that can be found at select Nike retailers now for $120.

I?m a fan of Huaraches but not in suede and not in a colorway this light. These would crease and get dirty so quick. Bad idea if you like clean shoes.
