This Nike Kyrie 3 Is Expected To Close Out 2016

NIKE KYRIE 3 1 NIKE KYRIE 3 2

It’s still unclear when exactly the Nike Kyrie 3 will be arriving at retailers. With Kyrie Irving expected to debut the silhouette on Christmas Day, today we take a look at new images of the Team Red colorway that is now being rumored to release on New Year’s Eve.

This bold colorway of the forthcoming Kyrie 3 features a Team Red upper with pink and orange detailing throughout. A white outsole adds some contrast to this Kyrie 3.

As we previously mentioned, this Team Red colorway of the Nike Kyrie 3 is expected to release on December 31st 2016. Official information from Nike regarding the Kyrie 3 should be made available soon so stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Author’s Take

Still not sure how I feel about the Kyrie 3, but I know for certain that I’m not a fan of this colorway. The hits of pink and orange kind of ruin the look in my opinion.

The Resell Price For The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Is Already Ridiculous

NIKE HYPERADAPT 1.0 1 NIKE HYPERADAPT 1.0 2 NIKE HYPERADAPT 1.0 3 NIKE HYPERADAPT 1.0 4

The revolutionary and innovative Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 began releasing to the public yesterday, and to no one’s surprise the adaptive lacing sneaker has already made its way to eBay.

Retailing for an already pricey $720, some eBay listings have the shoe priced at much more expensive prices that range between $3,000 and $5,000. And the crazy thing is that some pairs have already been bought for that price. If you take a quick glance on eBay you’ll see that people are currently bidding up to $2,000 on some listings.

What are your thoughts on the current resell prices of the HyperAdapt 1.0? Would you pay this much money for a pair?

Comme des Gar?ons Is The Latest Fashion Staple To Collaborate With The Nike Air Force 1

The Nike Air Force 1 has been on a tear lately, releasing a number of awesome grails like the “Linen” colorway that will be exclusive to KITH Miami this weekend. We’ve seen Virgil Abloh’s Off-White imprint show off two brand new sample pairs, a VLone collaborative effort, and much more. Now Comme des Garçons is the latest fashion imprint to get their chance to alter the Bruce Kilgore classic for a more lifestyle-ready form – as if it wasn’t just that already.

The Comme des Garçons Air Force 1 doesn’t deviate too far from the classic white-on-white aesthetic that’s been such a classic combination for over a quarter-century now. CDG’s iconic heart and eyes logo is simply thumb-tacked into the crisp leather upper through a new strap addition. There’s no word on if this pair will actually see a retail release or if this is just a sample, but it’s worth mentioning that the Japanese label will help introduce the upcoming Nike Vapormax with a unique collaboration come early 2017. Check out a full look below and head over to our release dates page to stay updated on all of the coming Holiday 2016 attractions.

Everyone knows about Nike’s Benassi slide, right? Now the slide’s blueprint has been converted into a sneaker. Here’s a first look at the hybrid Nike Benassi SLP.

The Nike Benassi SLP is essentially a sneaker version of the Benassi slide. It comes in a slip-on construction to make it easier to slip on, just like the sandal. It still has the strap, it just not comes with much more material added to the upper. It’s made out suede (overlays) and mesh (bootie). It also comes with an extended heel. Above you will find three different colorways to choose from, Dark Mushroom, Cargo Khaki and Wolf Grey options. No word yet on when these arrive stateside, but you find them at select international retailers today.

Author’s Take

I have a couple pairs of the Benassi slide, but these, I don’t know man. It’s a no for now. I don’t think this needed to be done.

Nike LeBron 14 Update: It Comes With A Strap!

LA Times

The last time we covered any kind of information regarding the Nike LeBron 14 was a couple months ago when we let you know that the 14th Nike LeBron signature shoe would be making its debut sometime during the month of January (2017). We’re now one month away from the new year and the info on the shoe is still at a minimum.

This is what we know so far.

  • The Nike LeBron 14 will release in January
  • It is being reported that it will retail at $175

That’s about it. We had initially thought that this was the Nike LeBron 14, but this latest info coming out of ESPN proves that that is not the case.

Dave McMenamin from ESPN recently reported that LeBron James was warming up in an all-black pair of LeBron 14?s during a shootaround in Cleveland this morning. As soon as LeBron saw the reporters he was quick to take off the shoes before any kind of pictures were taken. McMenamin stated that the shoe LeBron was wearing was not the shoe we initially thought was the LeBron 14. Reason being, the one he got glance at came with a strap. Being that LeBron favors his strap-equipped LeBron Soldier model, it would not be a surprise to see that the LeBron 14 could also come equipped with a strap.

This is what McMenamin had to say about what he saw.

?LeBron James wore an all black pair of the yet-to-be-released Nike LeBron 14 to shootaround Thursday but took them off before talking to the press so reporters couldn?t snap photos of them. They don?t look like the images that leaked in August at all. James let ESPN.com inspect them, as long as we promised not to take a photo, and they are very sharp. One clue to what to expect when they drop in January: strap.?

h/t: ESPN

Author’s Take

I’m glad they’re not this. Now I’m curious to see what they actually look like. I hope Lebron gets a good one. He deserves it.
