The Nike Flyknit Racer Will Drop In Its Cleanest Colorway Yet Come Spring 2017
By SoleInsider
The Nike Flyknit Racer has been a must-own model ever since its debut at the 2012 London Olympics. Now nearly a half-decade later, Nike Sportswear is still giving us reasons to want more pairs with elevated colorways from the Triple Black, Pure Platinum, and more. 2017 will have more heat in store too, as today we get a look at the coming Nike Flyknit Racer White Sail.
It’s as close to a “Triple White” theme as the breathable offering has come yet, as the white on white Flyknit is accented by a Sail Swoosh that you can almost make out on the side panel. The reflective touches remain on the heel while a black outsole ensures that you won’t worry too much about putting this Nike Flyknit Racer White Sail to good use come the new year. What do you think of the look? Be sure to check out more detailed shots below and we’ll keep you updated on a Release Date in the near future right here on Sneaker News. In the meantime, check out more Flyknit Racer offerings on Nike.com.
The Nike Air Max 95 is one of the most recognizable running models ever. Even when Nike Sportswear tinkers with the iconic design to recontextualize it for the colder months or updates the outsole with a lighter, Ultra Moire inspired take, the side panel waves and unique mesh tooling are still readily apparent.
Today we get a look at a basic albeit essential colorway of the freshly updated Nike Air Max 95 Ultra as an all black upper camouflages the updated near-seamless design while tape and fuse tech comprise the waves. A while midsole and outsole unit slims down the legendary air max bubbles throughout while a premium leather toecap adds a touch of luxury. There’s no reflective 3M here, but if you’re looking for a basic everyday go-to then this pair is for you.
Check out more detailed photos below and know that you can buy this pair from international retailers like Shelta and look for this pair right now on Nike.com.
Buy, Pass, Wait: Air Jordan 11 Suede, Nike Kyrie 3 Black Ice, Christmas Day Sneakers
By SoleInsider
It’s almost Christmas time and you know what that means. No, it doesn’t mean that we get to unwrap all the awesome presents that we got from our family and friends and give thanks to the year that was (although giving thanks to this year is a highly dubious move unless your personal life was just that great). It means that our Buy, Pass, Wait column is a little short this weekend because the staff hasn’t turned in their picks yet. So until I get a few more emails responding to our weekly thread, it’ll just be me and the other Juan (Carrillo) for now giving our takes on the weekend’s releases and beyond, including the Air Jordan 11 Suede, the Nike Kyrie 3 and our picks for Christmas Day sneakers.
Air Jordan 11 Suede
Nike
Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (PASS) We’ve seen the Air Jordan 11 take on a different vibe when it goes low (snakeskin, IE, etc.), but now it looks like the once-sacred patent leather overlay is no more as we are now starting to see the Air Jordan 11 get the Pinnacle treatment. This stylized treatment might be appealing to a lot of people – there’s no way this doesn’t sell out immediately – but I’m not a fan at the moment. I’ll be very interested to see what the future holds for the 11s in general. Will we start to see more 11s drop in general and not just be limited to the holiday season?
Juan Carrillo, News: (PASS) $400 is way too much for this Jordan. Based off the images I’ve seen, the suede isn’t that impressive either. I’m not crazy about the 11s. I already have a hard time paying $220 for them. $400 is out of the question.
Air Jordan 16 Midnight Navy
NikeNike
EIC Juan: (BUY ONCE THE PRICE DROPS) I love the Air Jordan 16 and I absolutely regret not being able to buy this when they first came out. I love the blue toe and the look of the sneaker both with or without the shroud. That being said, I’m confident I’ll be able to scoop this up for less than $200 in a few weeks because they won’t sell out.
News Juan: (WAIT) The Air Jordan 16 is a solid model, but remind me why it’s priced at $250 again? If these end up sitting, I’d feel more comfortable paying $150 for them. If they sell out, I’m okay with that too.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Storm Blue
Nike
EIC Juan: (PASS) If it’s not the Chicago, Banned, Royal or Shattered Backboard (Original or Alternate), I don’t care about 1s, and it’s not like I wear 1s anyways (they hurt my feet and ankles).
News Juan: (WAIT) I’ve already seen this shoe priced at under retail. Which leads me to believe that I can eventually get these for close to $100 like many other Jordan1s that dropped this year. I love the colorway and I’d love to have it in my collection, but I’m going to wait it out in hopes of getting these way below retail. People are sleeping on these, and I’m okay with that.
Nike Kyrie 3 Black Ice
Nike
EIC Juan: (PASS) I might actually buy it for purposes of featuring it on the site, but I wouldn’t cop them for personal reasons. I’m intrigued with the possibilities of the Kyrie 3, especially after he gave it such an illuminating talk about it a few months ago way before anybody even had a chance to ask him about it.
News Juan: (WAIT) The Kyrie 3 has potential to be a good shoe. I’d like to try it on and see how it looks on-feet as a casual shoe. I’m in no rush to buy them. I’ll hit up my local mall in the next couple of weeks, try on a pair, and then make my decision there.
Christmas Day Sneakers (Pick One)
EIC Juan: adidas Harden Vol. 1 13 Below Zero
Nike
Congrats adidas, you finally made an all-white Ultra Boost that could on a basketball court. It’s super clean and a dirt trap that would make me cry the moment it got even the slightest speck of dirt, but it’s real nice to look at.
News Juan: (NONE) Not many Christmas-themed releases caught my eye this year. What will I be wearing for Christmas? Well it can go both ways depending on how I’m feeling. I could go with a clean pair of Cole Haan LunarGrands in this sweet Burnt Burgundy colorway that I have, or I can decide to unds my pair of Jordan 1 Breds. Either way, it’s a win-win.
As suggested, the sneaker?s aesthetic theme takes cues from the very same tone as its SB packaging from 2006 to 2007. Draped in black with 3M piping throughout, the classic sneaker is comprised of premium materials, consisting of faux ostrich leather and smooth suede.
Contrasting purple is prominent on the laces, while a respective box logo is embossed on the heels. Finally, an icy translucent outsole caps off the sleek design profile.
Priced at $130, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers worldwide starting December 26th.
It’s been a cool minute since we’ve shown you a pair of Huaraches that really caught our eye. Well that’s exactly what we have here today with this new “Reflect” colorway.
At first glance this looks like an ordinary all-black colorway of the classic Tinker Hatfield design, but when you hit the shoe with some light you’ll notice that the overlays on the side panels have an iridescent reflective effect that will make you the center of attention. Down below we have the traditional Huarache sole unit done in white accompanied by a black rubber outsole.
Pick up your Nike Air Huarache in this new “Reflect” colorway at select Nike retailers now for $120.
On-Feet Images Of The Nike Air Max Zero Dark Loden
By SoleInsider
The Nike Air Max Zero made its debut during the first half of 2015. Not many colorways dropped that year, but the second half of this year was a whole other story. A handful of colorways for both men and women dropped all year and the Nike Air Max Zero Dark Loden you see above is one of the final colorways to drop before the year comes to an end.
Opting to go for more of a tonal look, the shoes upper comes in a Dark Loden colorway constructed out of a mesh, synthetic and neoprene build. Adding some contrast to the shoe is the Black noted on areas such as the midsole and the area surrounding the “AIR” branding on the side of the heel. Already available internationally for about $155, we will let you know when these drop stateside. Thoughts on this new colorway? Let us know in the comments below.
Get A Little Wild With The Nike Air Force 1 Low Animal Print Pack
By SoleInsider
Who said animal prints on uppers were no longer relevant? If you don’t agree with that statement, check out this upcoming women’s Nike Air Force 1 Low Animal Print Pack.
Opting to give the classic basketball model a wild aesthetic, these women’s colorways of the Nike Air Force 1 Low opt to use a synthetic pony-hair upper to make the exotic animal prints come to life. The animal prints used on the shoe include realistic faux-prints in zebra, cheetah, leopard, just to name a few. Complimenting to print-heavy upper are details such as the Black leather Swoosh branding and laces, and the tonal Black or off-White sole unit. Get a good look at all the offerings above. Being that they’re now available internationally, we hope to see these stateside in the near future.
Here Are The Newest Pictures Of The Nike Kyrie 3 Hot Punch
By SoleInsider
A few days ago, Nike finally unveiled the Nike Kyrie 3. The Black Ice version will be the first colorway to release and it will do so on December 26th for $120. But what about after that? What other colorways will be dropping? The Nike Kyrie 3 Hot Punch you see above could very well be releasing on December 31st for $120.
The Kyrie 3 Hot Punch keeps things simple as a tonal Red takes care of most of the shoe, with a brighter red noted on the tongue tag and Nike Swoosh. Tech-wise, the Kyrie 3 comes with a new outsole equipped with more traction pods for better lateral movement and quick cuts. Get a good look at the shoe above and let us know if you’re planning on picking up this colorway once it drops at the end of the month.
Nike Sportswear surprised everyone with the on-trend militarized version of the Nike Air Force 1 this past Fall 2016 season in the Nike SF-AF1. The high-arching weather resistant take on Bruce Kilgore’s 1980s silhouette. The debut colorways sold out immediately and some even featured an additional paracord ankle strap that doubled as the straps to an accompanying duffle bag. After we saw a preview of a women’s exclusive “Binary Blue” colorway, today we get a look at the familiar combination of Black and Gum on the lifestyle standout.
While the initial run of the Nike SF Air Force 1 featured a Black/Gum version with leather and a durable nylon, this pair does manage to approach the combination differently. Here the traditional Air Force 1 midsole gets a matte black finish while the outsole retains that classic gum bottom. What do you think of the latest Nike SF AF1? Check out more shots below and stay tuned for the Release Date right here on Sneaker News.
Nike Put Actual Grass In Odell Beckham Jrs Christmas Cleats
By SoleInsider
Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the most electric players in the NFL today and while he may have been fined $18,000 for wearing his Craig Sager cleats, the receiver is letting up on the customs or PEs this Holiday 2016 season. The New York Football Giants take on the Philadelphia Eagles tonight, and in honor of the Christmas season, Nike outfitted Odell in one of the most unique takedowns of the Nike Vapor Untouchable to date.
The Nike Vapor Untouchable Odell Beckham Christmas PE features a unique cartoon print throughout the white upper that pays homage to Odell’s traditions during his High School playing days. The court utilizes actual blades of grass hand-cut by Isidore Newman School Coach Stewart in the icy cleat bottom.

Nike Brings Four Animal Prints To The Air Force 1 Low
By SoleInsider
NikeLab is back with another premium take on one of Nike’s most revered retro models ever, Bruce Kilgore’s fan-favorite basketball silhouette, the Nike Air Force 1 Low. While we’ve seen the model take on animal prints in the past, NikeLab’s premium aesthetic manages to overhaul the Nike Air Force 1 once again thanks to off-white Sail midsoles and outsoles while synthetic pony-hair treatments represent a number of exotic animals.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Animal Print Pack features realistic faux-prints in zebra, cheetah, leopard, and more options, each featuring a smooth black leather Swoosh so that the focus remains on the premium nature of the prints throughout. What do you think of the look? Check out more detailed photos below and know that you can purchase your pair today from international shops like SVD.
The Nike LeBron 14 is right around the corner, but Nike Basketball is making sure that you still pay attention to one of the most successful Soldier models of all-time in the Nike LeBron Soldier 10. LeBron’s been rocking this pair ever since the Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, and earlier today we learned that the Swoosh surprised everyone by dropping a New York City exclusive colorway at select Nike locations throughout Manhattan.
Only 100 pairs of the Nike LeBron Soldier 10 NYC were issued as user versemode on NikeTalk unveiled. The ankle strap features bold ‘Nike NYC’ branding in Anthracite on an all-black mesh upper while each pair is individually numbered out of 100. Check out more of this New York City exclusive LeBron Soldier 10 below and stay tuned for more LeBron updates right here on Sneaker News.
Nike Sportswear’s latest model that combines modern lifestyle appeal with a bold performance soccer silhouette, the Lunar Magista II Flyknit, is ready to keep kicking in 2017 with great new looks like this “Team Red” colorway. Sticking with the tonal upper and contrasting white sole formula we’ve seen quite often from just about every brand under the sun this year, the sneaker that brings back Nike’s very first Lunar sole unit goes all-red up top for the sleek Flyknit design. Pairs are available now at select sneaker shops and online directly from Nike.com.
The Nike Kyrie 3 was finally officially unveiled yesterday after months of anticipation. Kyrie Irving’s third signature model with Nike Basketball has tons of promise too, thanks to a unique outsole construction that focuses on lateral movement with traction pods for quick cuts. The pair will also look great with a pair of jeans off the court too, which is something to get excited about when you see all of the upcoming colorways headed to retailers. The Kyrie 3 “Hot Punch” will release on December 31st, 2016 for $120 featuring a Team Red upper to match the Cavaliers’ uniforms while Hot Punch takes over the branding duties for a truly standout look.
The strange texture on the side panel and contrast speckling on the midsole make for a vibrant aesthetic, and when grouped with the updated Nike Zoom midsole and lockdown fit thanks to Dynamic Flywire, the Kyrie 3 should be a no-brainer for $120 USD. What do you think of the Kyrie 3 Hot Punch?
For more on the Nike Kyrie 3, check out the full tech specs here. You can also see what other upcoming colorways are headed to retailers on our Release Dates page.
The Nike Air Force 1 was one of the most sought after silhouettes throughout 2016 thanks to an aggressive push by Nike Sportswear to bring back some of the most iconic colorways from the early 2000s while also revamping and refreshing Bruce Kilgore’s legendary basketball model. The Nike SF-AF1 was a fan-favorite while the Nike Air Force 1 Mid Flyknit held down the sportswear department with a number of monochromatic shades and an alternate, lightweight Ultra Moire inspired outsole unit for a modernized ride.
Today we get a look at the Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit in the perfect “Enamel Green” shade for Spring 2017. The pastel teal shade sees premium suede touches on the high-arching ankle strap and tongue while embossed ‘Nike Air’ branding matches the simple, refined lifestyle suede touch on the Swoosh’s side panel placement. The additional ice on the outsole’s toe and heel is skipped here for a simple translucence.
What do you think of the coming Nike Air Force 1 Mid Flyknit Enamel Green pair? Check out more detailed images below and be on the lookout for this AF1 to arrive at retailers this coming January and on Nike.com.
