This Nike All-Star Release Flew Under The Radar

Of all the upgrades the Nike Air Force 1 has seen lately: the militarized Nike SF-AF1; the collaborations with VLONE, ACRONYM, and more; and the upcoming premium take through NikeLab known as the Nike Air Force 1 High Tech Craft, it’s easy to see how this “All-Star” themed Nike Air Force 1 Low Flyknit went under the radar. Luckily, you’ll have a chance to pick up the modernized construction in the near future to coincide with the NBA’s trip down to New Orleans this weekend.

The combination of Flyknit atop Bruce Kilgore’s iconic Nike Air Force 1 creation was inevitable, and Nike Sportswear managed to keep things simple while keeping the original panels intact thanks to supportive Dynamic Flywire and plenty of ventilation throughout. The Nike Air Force 1 Low Flyknit “All-Star” matches that design simplicity with a basic colorway of Black/Sail with a vibrant pop of purple on the lace dubraes. Premium touches of suede land on the traditional heel panel and Swoosh branding in a contrasting Sail for a luxurious touch.

Stay tuned for availability in the coming days, but for now, head over to Nike.com to see what else you can find that went a bit under the radar.

The Nike Air Force 1 High Tech Craft Isnt A Rochambeau Collaboration

There’s so much happening with the iconic Nike Air Force 1 right now that it’s a bit hard too keep track of. VLONE introduced their highly anticipated and super limited collaboration at an insane Harlem pop-up shop recently. Nike Sportswear continues to keep the Nike SF-AF1 heat coming with a brand new desert camouflage option later this week. New York menswear specialists Rochambeau even introduced a brand new premium NikeLab helmed model known as the Nike Air Force 1 High Tech Craft slated to release at select retailers on February 16th in both men’s and women’s sizes.

Initially thought to be an exclusive collaboration between the premium Swoosh imprint and Rochambeau, the Nike Air Force 1 High TC SP is instead a limited offering straight from Nike featuring a number of enticing new features perfect for everyday, lifestyle use. The Nike AF1 TC benefits from a Jacquard-like woven toebox on both models while updated ventilated perforations add a sleek premium accent to the monochromatic uppers. Perhaps the most noticeable difference is the high arching ankle collar, deconstructed with an updated thinner strap. The women’s pair boasts a Sail colorway while the men’s features a classic Black/White look. Pricing info is still unknown at this time.

What do you think of the new Nike Air Force 1 High Tech Craft? Check out more detailed shots below and stay tuned for more of February’s latest offerings via our always updated Release Dates page.

The Nike Vapormax Is Priced At $190

With today’s rising costs of sneakers, the rumored $190 price-tag on the upcoming Nike Vapormax is a relative bargain. Look at this way: $190 will get you decades-old retro models with materials that aren’t quite suitable for performance wear. The Vapormax, however, delivers the most advanced form of encapsulated Air ever with a newly engineered Flyknit upper for the same price.

The shoe that the Vapormax will most likely be compared to is the Ultra Boost, which hits store shelves in the $180-200 range. The Ultra Boost has a similar formula in that it combines its own engineered knit upper with the prized Boost sole, but there’s no question that the Vapormax brings something a bit more futuristic to the table. This women’s colorway of the Vapormax is slated to drop on March 25th on the eve of Air Max Day 2017. See the official images here.
