Nike Will Be Releasing Uptempos Inspired By Pippens Disrespectful Dunk Over Ewing

One of the most disrespectful sneakers of all-time will be releasing next week with the arrival of the Nike Air More Uptempo Knicks. If you’re familiar with Scottie Pippen and you’ve watched him play then you’ve probably seen what is probably his most savage play of all-time.

During Game 6 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks, Scottie was running the break when he took off from just outside the key and threw the hammer down on fellow NBA legend Patrick Ewing. Not only did he make the dunk and it was a foul on Ewing, but Patrick Ewing fell to the floor and Scottie decided to stand over him to add insult to injury. This “dunk” is immortalized forever on this sneaker as the insoles display a silhouette of Pippen’s legendary dunk over Ewing. The upper comes in a traditional Knicks colorway as white dominates the shoe with Deep Royal Blue and Team Orange accents.

Look for the Nike Air More Uptempo Knicks to release on September 23, 2017 for a retail price of $160. Sorry Knicks fans, but you’re just gonna have to pretend that these don’t exist.
