Above you will see the custom Nike Hyperdunk sneakers Karl-Anthony Towns decided to wear for this year’s Kentucky Basketball’s Alumni Game. The customs sneakers came with loud and clear messages that read “Love Trumps Hate,” as will as with an anti-racism logo noted on the toe. President Trump’s response to the recent events in Charlottesville, VA and the overall state of the country is probably the main reason why Karl-Anthony Towns opted to go with these sneakers for the event. Much respect to Karl-Anthony Towns for using his platform to deliver his message. In addition to the shoe, he also published an article on The Players’ Tribune to comment on the recent events in Charlottesville and Donald Trump’s response.

It’s been a cool minute since Nike dropped the Nike Air Woven Boot, but this Fall season everything will change as the Swoosh plans on bringing back the model beginning with the two colors you see above.

Rocking a Black/Dark Grey and Olive/Black/Pink color scheme, the Nike Air Woven Boot consists of a checkered weave across the upper matched up with a White midsole and Black rubber outsole. Standout features on the shoe include, tonal laces, suede hits on the heel, eyestay and tongue, the additional woven detailing on the heel and the embroidered branding on the tongue.
