Nike Officially Introduces The Nike Metcon 4 + Release Date

Nike is excited to bring you the latest and greatest version of their Nike Metcon line, the Nike Metcon 4. The new model keeps something the same, while also introducing brand new additions to the shoe. Let’s get a closer look.

The Nike Metcon 4 is designed specifically for competitive functional fitness and weightlifting. The model comes with improved comfort and durability while delivering the performance it?s known for. Innovative haptic technology used on the upper provides the shoe with superior durability. The process allows Nike designers to precisely place areas of durability where it?s needed, leaving other areas open for breathability.

The shoe provides a flat, strong platform for confidence during weightlifting and high-intensity training. The rubberized tri-star shapes on the upper provide multidirectional grip and traction for activities like rope climbs, while the drop-in midsole offers stability in the heel and flexibility in the forefoot.

The lead men?s colorway was inspired by the concept of metamorphic rock, which is formed and changed under heat and pressure, similar to the intense mentality needed for athletic training. The swirled outsole pattern and striking colors resemble a marbled effect often seen in metamorphic rocks.

Look for the The Nike Metcon 4 to debut on Nike iD on Dec. 19, followed by a retail launch beginning Jan. 1 on Nike.com and Jan. 4 at retailers globally, in men?s and women?s sizes.

Two Colorways Of The Nike Air Humara Are Releasing This Week

Twenty years after its debut, the trailblazing Nike Air Humara is returning in 2017. It was the first to put fabric around the midsole, and it was a statement on the wooded paths.

The second pair utilizes rich earth tones of Medium Olive, Desert Sand, and Deep Burgundy that reflect back on its roots. Nike Zoom Air in the forefoot and classic Air in the heel lighten up the ride, while the rubberized toe tip resists abrasions. Updated from the purely rugged trail shoe to a street-worthy style, the new Air Humara is up for anything.

Pick up both of these NRG quickstrike colorways of the Nike Air Humara at select Nike retailers on Thursday, December 14th for $140 each.
