Kobe Bryant Suggests A Nike Kobe Retro Line Is In The Works

Is it too early for Nike to begin giving past Kobe models the retro treatment? Kobe Bryant doesn’t seem to think so. The Black Mamba took to his IG stories to share the image you see above. The image shows Kobe holding what appears to be the Nike Kobe 1 accompanied by a caption that read “We’re always looking to build on things that we’ve done in the past to try to improve them”

Though not yet “official”, this pretty much confirms that Kobe retros are on the horizon and they could be releasing in a manner that makes them better than the firs they dropped. New tech? New materials? Improved colorways? Who know, we’ll have to wait and see.

No release info has been disclosed yet, but don’t be surprised if something happens on ar around Mamba Day (April 13th). Stay tuned.
