Next month is Nike’s annual Air Max Day celebration and the brand will introduce a brand new style with this Nike WMNS Air VaporMax 2.0. This women’s exclusive version of the silhouette is officially introduced in a vibrant ultramarine/hot punch theme. A mixture of grey and hot punch basically cover the flyknit upper, while more pops of hot punch are used on the updated heel, pull tabs and clear VaporMax sole. Black accents throughout and ultramarine used for the Swoosh branding completes the design altogether.

DAY 3

The Nike Makers of the Game event was a 3-day event full of interactive experiences, athlete/celebrity appearance and limited sneaker drops.

Day two highlights included scrimmages with local high school teams, Makers customization sessions, and appearances by athletes including Draymond Green, Anthony Davis, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The day ended with a Makers of the Game basketball tournament on Makers Court hosted by Pigalle featuring Giannis. We will share photos of this when they are available.

Day three highlights included a conversation with Kendrick Lamar and an evening performance. Check out the images above to see what went down.

A whole lotta sneakers dropped this weekend. One that did not release to the public but we’d like to still cover is the Nike Air Zoom Generation LA you see above. Shown above, this special iteration of the model was designed for LeBron James as he returns back to Los Angeles for All-Star Weekend. Rocking a White smooth and textured leather upper, the shoe is offset by the Blue and Red contrasting accents seen throughout. Special features on the shoe include the ?LA? logo on the heel and ?2018? embroidered on the inner lining. Don’t expect these to release to the public and they’re most likely a one-off, but we just thought we’d give you a look at what kind unique kicks Nike made for LeBron this weekend.

Sean Wotherspoon’s Nike Air Max hybrid creation will finally be getting a wide release and it’ll be happening on Air Max Day 2018.

As one of the world’s foremost collectors of vintage shoes and apparel, Sean Wotherspoon created the Air Max 1/97 SW for 2017’s Vote Forward competition?and won. The voter-approved design channels his passion for ’80s culture while drawing influence from vintage corduroy caps, his native Virginia and LA, and his two favorite sneakers: the Air Max 1 and the Air Max 97.

What is sure to be one of the most popular colorways of the Nike Air Max 270 finally has an official release date at the Dusty Cactus pair has been officially unveiled by Nike.

Covered in a lightweight and breathable white mesh all throughout the upper, black detailing has then been added on the toe, mudguard, ankle, heel, inner liner, and the branding on the tongue. Dusty Cactus (teal) provides a nice pop as it has been placed on the Swoosh logos on the toe and side panels, heel tab, and the outsole. The Nike Air VaporMax Plus made its debut last month. It is one of Nike’s latest hybrids which combines the upper of the Air Max Plus with the sole unit of the Air VaporMax. The next VaporMax hybrid to release will be the Nike Air VaporMax 97.

The Nike Air VaporMax 97 combines two of the most iconic representations of full-length Air from the past and present. Featuring the same iconic, bullet-train-inspired lines, the Air Max 97 upper joins with the revolutionary, full-length Air-Sole unit of the Air VaporMax. The result is an all-new combo that celebrates big Air while bordering on the surreal. This colorway comes done in the OG Neon color scheme as Black and Metallic Silver dominate the upper while hits of Volt provide a nice pop.

After returning last year, the Nike Flyknit Trainer will be dropping in more colorways for 2018 starting in the Spring season. One colorway that will be dropping is the OG Oreo pair that debuted in 2012.

The Nike Flyknit Racer Oreo comes done in a Black and White breathable Flyknit upper with black dominating the back portion of the shoe and an oreo-like pattern seen on the front. Additional details include white Swoosh logos, black Flywire cables, a white midsole, and a black rubber outsole.

Official images of this Nike Air VaporMax Plus in grey leaked the other day but the model has now been officially revealed by Nike. Dubbed “Retuned Air,” the silhouette is basically covered in a tonal cool grey hue throughout for a clean style. The design of the shoe basically borrows the look of the Nike Air Max Plus with a neoprene upper and TPU overlays, while a VaporMax sole completes the look, alongside chrome accents, Air VaporMax Plus branding on the tongues and ?VM? branding on the heel.
