Nike surprised the sneaker world yesterday when they dropped a brand new colorway of the Nike Kyrie 4 without any kind of warning.
In honor of Kyrie Irving’s upcoming movie “Uncle Drew”, Nike decided to release the Nike Kyrie 4 in an all-red “Red Carpet” colorway. The shoe features a red mesh upper with patent leather detailing on the mudguard and a red velvet sockliner as a nod to the velvet ropes seen on a ?Red Carpet.? Gold detailing on the Kyrie logo on the tongue and Swoosh logos complete the look.
The only way to buy these shoes was you had to use Facebook Messenger by sending four emojis, a basketball, fire, clapper and skeleton key. Once you sent that code, customers received a link to unlock these Kyrie 4s making them available for purchase.
So if you were able to pick up a pair then consider yourself one of the lucky few. A wider release is not scheduled at the moment but these can possibly drop around the time the Uncle Drew movie hits theaters on June 29, 2018.
