A Possible First Look At The Skepta x Nike Air Max Deluxe

Way back in March we provided you with a mock-up of what some of us believed the Skepta x Nike Air Max Deluxe would end up looking like. Today we get a first look at a sneaker that’s very similar to that very same mock-up.

The supposed Skepta x Nike Air Max Deluxe comes dressed in a Black and Deep Red color scheme, which is the color scheme the collab is set to release in.  Not familiar with this Air Max model? That?s because it?s an Air Max that made its official debut back in 1999 and hasn?t gotten much limelight ever since.

As soon as we get confirmation that the shoe above is in-fact the Skepta x Nike Air Max Deluxe, we will be sure to let you know. Stay tuned. Look for them to drop next month for $180.

This Nike Air Max 97 Comes With Lots Of Discreet Branding On The Mudguard

From afar, this Nike Air Max 97 appears to come with your traditional two-toned finish. A Black leather and mesh upper with University Red accents, right? It’s only when you take a closer look at the upper that you will find that the shoe comes with repeated tonal ?NIKE? logos on its overlay above the midsole. Although the subtle branding does not create a drastic change on the overall appearance of the shoe, it’s still a dope new feature we’re not used to seeing on this model. Fans of the Black and Red motif can now pick up this pair at atmos. Stay tuned for a confirmed release date. MSRP is $160.

Introducing The Nike EXP-X14

Nike Sportswear has just introduced a new silhouette with the arrival of the Nike EXP-X14.

The Nike Sportswear EXP-X14 both remembers Nike?s history and pushes the boundaries of lifestyle footwear through the use of numbers and transparent design elements. Here?s what you need to know about it.

The name and numbers

  • EXP is shorthand for ?experiment,? which was essentially how the Nike Sportswear designers adapted performance running features into a lifestyle shoe.
  • The second part of the shoe?s name, X14, was the original internal codename for Nike React technology (which is used in the shoe?s midsole to provide cushion for all-day comfort).
  • N3546, which is printed on the medial side, represents Steve Prefontaine?s fastest mile (3 minutes and 54.6 seconds) and nods to Nike?s rich history in running.

Its look

  • With its translucent upper, this shoe is a modern take on the Nike Zoom Drive (a late-90s running shoe).
  • The exposed TPU plate that cuts across the midsole and tapered heel emulate the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% shoes worn by Breaking2 athletes.

The Nike Sportswear EXP-X14 will be available beginning June 28 via SNEAKRS in Europe. From July 5, the shoe will be available from the Nike SNKRS app in North America, Greater China on nike.com and at select retailers.
