Rainbow Soles On The Nike Pre Love OX

Nike never gave the Pre Love OX a formal introduction, but the Swoosh continues to release different colorways of the retro-inspired silhouette.

Taking inspiration from past Nike retro runners such as the Nike Cortez and the Nike Internationalist. this new colorway of the Nike Pre Love OX features a nylon and nubuck upper done in light grey with large iridescent Swooshes on the side panels. If the large iridescent Swoosh wasn’t enough, the shoe also comes with a translucent rainbow gradient outsole.

A few months ago Nike had an ?On Air? Design competition as part of the Air Max Day 2018 celebration. The program took place in six major cities across the globe. NYC, Paris, London, Seoul, Shanghai, and Tokyo. Each city created their own Air Max design inspired by its community?s unique cultural fingerprint, as designed by the locals who know it best.

After announcing the six winners from the Nike On Air design contest, we now get a look at each of their designs. Shown above, the winning silhouettes include the Air Max 98, Air Max 1, VaporMax Plus and Air Max 97. Each design pays homage to their respective city in their own respective fashion. It should be noted that none of the shoes above are the final product, but simply in a sample stage to give you an idea of what the final outcome may end up looking like.
