Let me explain.

The adidas Box Shoe is advertised as a unique and environmentally conscious footwear option with a think outside the box innovative design (see what I did there?). The adidas Box Shoe “packaging” is seamlessly integrated with the product itself. Taking clear inspiration from the classic Blue adidas shoebox, the sneaker even comes equipped with perforations and fat shoelaces. The flap at the midfoot acts as a tongue that also help you feel secure once you put these bad boys on. Ha!

Now, is adidas really moving forward with these? We’re 99.99% sure they’re not. With April Fool?s Day being right around the corner, this may be the brand?s playful nod to the practical joke holiday. Following a look at the adidas Crazy 8 Los Angeles Dodgers just 24 hours ago, adidas now honors Kobe Bryant’s hometown baseball club with the adidas Crazy 8 “Philly”. Although not an official collaboration with the Phillies, this adidas Crazy 8 comes covered in the team colors as we see a vibrant red suede all over the upper along with white paneling to break up the tonal look as well as a matching midsole. To complete the Philly look we see the addition of blue on the tongue and pull tabs as well as the various adidas branding throughout. adidas Basketball is hype to announce the highly anticipated return of adidas Eurocamp.

adidas Eurocamp is without a doubt the premier showcase highlighting the talents of Europe’s top NBA draft eligible prospects. This year’s adidas Eurocamp is set to be the 17th edition and will run from June 1-3 at the renowned Ghirada La Città Dello Sport in Treviso, Italy. The event promises to be unparalleled, with the introduction of the World Team comprised of elite players coming from LATAM, Africa, Australia, APAC, and emerging markets alongside top European talents.

adidas Eurocamp is the only officially sanctioned NBA pre-draft camp outside of the United States. Which is no surprise that hundreds of NBA and EuroLeague team personnel, coaches, scouts and agents are in attendance every year.  adidas Eurocamp aims to offers next gen athletes ages 18-22 the one of a kind opportunity to be coached by current NBA coaches and players while also showing off their impressive skills on a world stage.

Participating teams this year include 2 Eurocamp Teams (draft eligible athletes), 2 US Teams, ANGT Select Team, and the World Team. Returning to spearhead this elite global event are esteemed Coaching Director, Bill Bayno, former NBA Assistant Coach, and returning as Scouting Director, Gianluca Pascucci. Packer Shoes will be teaming up with adidas to hit us with a clean Packer Shoes x adidas Forum Low Pack.

Previewed below, the Packer Shoes x adidas Forum Low Pack will include three versatile colorways of the Forum Low, with each pair constructed out of luxe leather materials done in subtle tones. Recurring features include White tumbled leather uppers, perforations on the toe box, mesh tongues, and suede overlays on the eyestays and heel overlay. What differentiates each pair from each other is the color of the Three Stripes as they come colored in your choice of Pure, Brown, and Blue Grey. Other defining details include the co-branding on the insoles, the adidas branding on the tongue tag and sole unit, all while being placed atop a creamy midsole and Grey rubber outsole.

Looking to grab a pair or all three? The Packer Shoes x adidas Forum Low Pack is set to release on March 29th exclusively through Packer, both online and in-store. The MSRP has yet to be announced.

UPDATE (3/25): Packer Shoes has confirmed that their adidas Forum Low collaboration will be releasing on Friday March 29th, 2024 at 11AM EST exclusively at Packer. Each pair is constructed out of an assortment of premium leathers that is then complemented by vibrant, suede accents and mesh underlays. You also get co-branding and insoles that match the accent colors on the upper. 

The legendary adidas Samba OG takes on a slightly new look with this Core White/Beige colorway that is part of adidas’ spring 2024 lineup. This offering of the adidas Samba begins with a supple Core White leather construction all over the upper with new perforations added on the toes for extra breathability. Additional details include tan suede detailing on the three stripes branding on the side panels as well as the heel tabs. Finishing details include cream laces, silver foil adidas branding on the lateral side panels, and gum rubber outsoles. This versatile colorway of the adidas Samba OG can be scooped up now online and at select retailers for $150.

New colorways of the adidas Crazy 8 are on the way. One pair set to release in the coming days is the adidas Crazy 8 Los Angeles Dodgers. Why drop Crazy 8 done Los Angeles Dodgers color? The late Kobe Bryant was known for being a big fan and supporter of the Los Angeles-based MLB team, further cementing Kobe Bryant’s strong ties to the city.

Shown below, the adidas Crazy 8 Los Angeles Dodgers is inspired by the LA Dodgers? road jerseys. Design details include a Grey suede base representing the team?s uniforms. Up next we bring you a look at the “McDonald?s All American Game? PE colorway which pays homage to the prestigious McDonald?s All-American Game, an event that showcases the top high school basketball talent in the country. Debuted by retired NBA player and adidas athlete Gilbert Arenas, this adidas AE 1 takes on a mismatched look as both left and right shoes begin with a White knitted upper with the left shoe hit with red on the signature side panel overlays and heels and the right shoe hit with blue on the same areas. For that PE touch we see the McDonald’s “M” logo in yellow embroidered on the heel tabs. Translucent detailing on the rubber outsole finish off the look on this adidas AE 1.

UPDATE (3/22): A day after giving you a first look, it has now been announced that the adidas AE 1 McDonald?s All American will in fact be releasing to the public as it is slated for a March 29th debut exclusively at Foot Locker.

adidas Originals and JJJJound will be joining forces this spring for a brand new Samba collaboration that will include special iterations of both the Samba OG and Samba Classic Mig.

Previewed below, the JJJJound x adidas Samba Pack consists of a Samba OG done in a Mesa and Gum color scheme constructed out of a plush suede. You also get the Samba Classic Mig arriving in your choice of Core Black and Off White, with each option done in a mix of leather and suede. JJJJound branding will be found throughout, while both styles will also come with a clean Gum rubber sole.

The JJJJound x adidas Samba Pack will be releasing on March 27th at JJJJound.com and via the Confirmed app. Retail is set at $250. The Samba Classic Mig ($250) has yet to be given a release date.

The adidas Yeezy Slide Slate Grey made its debut back in 2023. For those of you who missed out on the initial drop or are simply in need for a fresh pair, the adidas Yeezy Slide Slate Grey is restocking today.

Previewed below, this “Slate Grey” colorway of the adidas Yeezy Slide comes in a medium Grey shade that covered the entire lightweight, molded EVA foam build that also includes the seamless wide-strap upper. Design details include the three-stripe logo on the footbed and deep grooves on the outsole. That’s pretty much it.

Anthony Edwards? adidas AE 1 signature sneaker does not miss, and this latest unveiled colorway could very well end up being one of the best offerings of the model when all is said and done. Dropping later on this year, here is a first look at the adidas AE 1 Preloved Purple.

One of the boldest iterations of the model yet, the adidas AE 1 Preloved Purple is highlighted by the Purple/Pink hue on the TPU support cage that will surely turn heads and break some necks. Looking to tone things down a bit, adidas mixes in some Black hits that take care of the knit textile portion of the sneaker, laces, eyelets, lining and carbon finer heel. Defining features on the AE 1 include the breathable perforations done in a honeycomb pattern on the upper, the large Three Stripes logo on the heels and Anthony Edward’s initials on the woven tongue tags. To help you on the court, adidas hooks up the AE 1 with a midsole equipped with Boost and Lightstrike tech that delivers both comfort and performance.
