Get An On-Feet Look At The Why So Sad x Nike SB Dunk Low

Making its debut later on this year, here are official images of the Why So Sad? x Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration.

Created by John Rattray (skateboarder and advocate for mental health awareness), the mission of ?Why So Sad?? is to help open up the conversation about suicide prevention in skateboarding and elsewhere. Helping the cause, this collaboration between Nike SB and Scottish talent will be a large part of this year?s fundraising efforts.

Shown below, the Why So Sad? x Nike SB Dunk Low features a Light Blue leather base and mesh tongues paired up with Dark Blue tear-away overlays to reveal Yellow underneath. Other notable details include the embroidered skateboarding chicken motif on the lateral heel, the co-branded insoles with graphic of a bird doing a sad grab, ?Why So Sad?? branding on the inner tongue tag, and question marks embroidered on the heels. Completing the look is a White midsole atop a translucent outsole.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these SB Dunk Lows, with art by Jon Horner, will go directly to the WhySoSad? fundraising efforts.

Release Date: FroSkate x Nike SB Dunk High All Love No Hate

A closer look at the FroSkate x Nike SB Dunk High is revealed as this rendition by the Chicago-based skateboarding community that centers women; Black, Indigenous and people of color; and queer people, is suggested to make its debut this summer to perhaps coincide with Pride Month in June.

Overall, the high-top boasts a crisp white leather upper is offset by multicolored overlays while the words ?All Love, No Hate? are debossed on the side panels. Additionally, the toe box bears heart-shaped perforations while the FroSkate logo and its message is prominent on the custom tongue labels. Get An On-Feet Look At The Nike Dunk Low Sesame

Another new color option of the Nike Dunk Low is headed our way as we take a first look at the “Sesame” pair which is expected to release some time later this fall. Taking on a leather construction throughout the upper, this Nike Dunk Low gets hit with a tan hue on the side panels and toe and is highlighted by a sesame seed print on the overlays. For contrast we see blue detailing on the Swooshes and heel tabs, white detailing on the tongues, laces, and inner liner, hardwood graphic insoles, and semi-translucent gum outsoles.

A new greyscale offering of the Nike Air Max 90 is making its way to select retailers soon which also comes with a pop of color. Noted as pair that was designed for the little footers, this Nike Air Max 90 gets covered in a shade of grey all over the upper which has been constructed out of a grid mesh and leather all throughout. The signature side panel Swooshes are then hit with repetitive orange “NIKE” text inside the Swooshes. The Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe Studio Will Be Restocking This Week

The Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe consists as the fourth installment between the Swoosh and the American contemporary artist, and it’s scheduled to finally debut next month. Almost reflective of the Swoosh’s classic OG runners like the Nike Killshot, the aesthetic is aimed to simple as NikeCraft points explains, “It took us 10 years to make a sneaker this simple??as simple as can be and no simpler. A do-more sneaker. An own-less sneaker. A show-up, prove-it, whole-life, be-you sneaker.”

Overall, the low-top dons a sail mesh upper that’s reinforced with grey suede overlays. Additionally, contrasting blue pull tabs on the tongues and heels, followed by Tom Sachs branding on the tongue labels, as well as the NikeCraft logo adorning the insoles and rugged black rubber outsole round out the style.

First Look: HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low NYC

Nike SB and HUF will be linking up to drop three special iterations of the SB Dunk Low that will be celebrating HUF’s 20th Anniversary. Known as the HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low City Pack, the collaboration will include NYC, San Francisco and a Friends and Family colorway. Here is a first look at the HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low NYC.

Shown below, this colorway of the HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low pays tribute to NYC, where HUF founder Keith Hufnagel (rest in peace) was born and raised. The HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low NYC is constructed out of a tumbled leather upper consisting of a Navy base and White overlays. Other details include Sail laces, an aged midsole Navy outsole, “KEITH” and FOREVER” text on each respective heel alongside the New York skyline, NYC branding on the tongue tags, and HUF branding placed under a metal-like Swoosh pin on the toe box.
