Nike shows the Windy City come love by way of this special iteration of the Nike Air Max 1 86. Making its debut next week, here is a detailed look at the Nike Air Max 1 86 Chicago.
The Nike Air Max 1 86 Chicago is part of a larger Chicago Pack. In the wake of the Great Chicago Fire, residents worked together to rebuild, replacing charred wooden structures with steel, concrete and glass. This iteration of the model pays homage to this “second city,” bringing the hues of modern skyscrapers to premium leather and suede. Blue Chill accents and a reflective Swoosh nod to the mirror image of downtown towers in the surface of Lake Michigan. And on the the insole and tongue label, you’ll find that iconic skyline, overlayed by a Nike Swoosh.
Retailing for $170, the Nike Air Max 1 86 Chicago is set to make its debut on October 21st at select Nike Sportswear outlets in Chicago, both in-store and online. For a complete guide including official photos, release dates, pricing and where to buy, visit: Nike Air Max 1 86 Chicago.

Chicago Pack
Built for, validated by, and told through the city: Chicago, this one’s for you. Nike teamed up with six local streetwear legends (Leaders, Notre, RSVP, St. Alfred, SVRN and Succezz) to craft sneakers inspired by the resilience of Chicagoans past and present. Through the stories at the heart of these designs, the Chicago Pack evokes an ever-evolving blend of heritage and modernity, fire and water, steel and wood. As a unifying touch, both footwear styles feature a special-edition graphic on the insole and tongue label?the Chicago skyline overlayed by a Nike Swoosh.”
