Devin Booker will soon be the latest NBA star to get his very own signature sneaker with Nike. Dubbed the Nike Book 1, let’s get a detailed look at the upcoming Nike Book 1 in the Clay Orange colorway.
The Nike Book 1 combines elements from several iconic Nike models like the Air Force 1, Air Jordan 1, and the Blazer. The overall design of the sneaker also takes inspiration from Booker?s ?72 Chevy Blazer K5 car, giving it a unique flair. When it comes to the tech used on the Book 1, the sneaker comes equipped with a Cushlon 2.0 foam midsole paired with a top-loaded Zoom Air unit in the heel. This fusion of style and performance perfectly embodies the concept of a ?future classic,? a term chosen by Booker himself during the shoe?s design process.
The Nike Book 1 Chapter One comes dressed in a Clay Orange, Ice Peach, and Campfire Orange color scheme. Done in a tonal Orange hue, this colorway of the Book 1 pays homage to Booker?s beloved Phoenix Suns team. Constructed with a handful of different materials, some of the design details include Devin Booker?s ?BOOK? logo on the tongues, and a ?96? (Book?s birth year) placed on the heel tab. This pair also features heel tabs that display the phrase ?Chapter One,? serving as a nod to the shoe?s inaugural colorway and its significance in Booker?s journey with Nike Basketball.
The Nike Book 1 Chapter One will retail for $150. Look for them to release sometime during the Spring 2024 season at select retailers and Nike SNKRS. For a complete guide including official photos, release dates, pricing and where to buy, visit: Nike Book 1 Clay Orange.
