The Nike Air Pegasus 2K5 is undergoing a bit of a resurgence this year. After being on heavy rotation during the early 2000s and 2010s, Nike looks to revive this model that was once considered a fan favorite. One pair set to debut this summer is the Nike Air Pegasus 2K5 Bicoastal. Let’s get a closer look.

Done in a Coconut Milk/Bicoastal-Soft Yellow color scheme, design details on the revamped Air Pegasus 2005 consist of a breathable mesh, leather, and suede construction, defined by design details that include the small Swooshes and toe cut-outs. If you take a closer look you will see that this updated design includes badges on the midsole and heel that read “FULL LENGTH NIKE AIR” and “AIR PEGASUS” respectively. Also worth mentioning, unlike previous iterations of the model of years past, this pair decides to cover up the forefoot Air bubble beneath the vertical stripes in an effort to create a bit more of a streamlined aesthetic. UNC vibes make their way onto this new colorway of the highly popular Nike Zoom Vomero 5 which joins Nike’s spring 2024 lineup. Renowned menswear brand, Bode, is known for using everyday materials such as family quilts and lace tablecloths to create one of a kind wearable pieces. For their latest venture, they will be teaming up with Nike for a new footwear and apparel collection that will be centered around the return of a classic Nike shoe from the ’70s, the Nike Astro Grabber. FYI, this release will mark the first time the Astro Grabber has been reissued since its initial release back in the 1970s.

The Bode x Nike Astro Grabber Pack comes dressed in your choice of Black and Coconut Milk, or Natural, Black and Light Cream. The Black pair is given a Black leather upper with Coconut Milk accents on the Swoosh logos, laces, tongue tags, and inner lining. The design is highlighted by the retro-font Bode branding on the tongue tag and a Bronze-shaded lace charm. A solid Black waffle rubber outsole completes the look. This special iteration of the Air Force 1 Low merges digital advancement with tangible sneaker culture thus extending Nike?s venture into the metaverse.

Arriving in a head-turning vibrant Racer Blue patent upper, the .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low 404 Error takes the minimalistic approach as it opts to get rid of the iconic Swoosh logos you typically find on the side panels. Instead, the sneaker integrates digital language into its design as the lateral side of the heel features the message ?404 Error, the requested upper was not found. Try again,? further capturing the essence of its exclusive appeal in the digital era. Other notable details include the Swoosh branded metal lace dubrae, the White midsole, translucent outsole, inside out tongue tags, and graphic insoles covered in display lines of code that also read “Nike Virtual Studios”. When it comes to the packaging, you get hooked up with an in inside-out Air Force 1 box adorned with digital elements that is then complemented by a .SWOOSH sticker.

PJ Tucker is no stranger to having his own PE sneakers. The NBA sneaker king adds a couple to his list this week as first up we check out his Nike Air Flight 89 “Sky Blue” PE. Debuted by PJ before the Clippers vs Nuggets game on April 4th, this special edition of the Nike Air Flight 89 gets covered in a Sky Blue tumbled leather construction all over the upper with perforations added on the toes and mudguards. For contrast we see the addition of White on the side panel Swooshes, laces, upper and lower eyelets, midsole, and the Flight logo and “PJ17” on the heels. The sneakers were also accompanied with unique packaging which included a blue Samsonite suitcase with a Swoosh and a personalized PJ Tucker luggage tag. Below you will get an official look at the Nike Book 1 Haven. One of the model’s best colorways yet, the Nike Book 1 Haven is part of the Hike Pack and is inspired by Devin Booker?s Cane Corso, Haven. Due to Booker’s strong bond with his “best friend”, this Book 1 will without a doubt end up being one of Booker’s favorite Book 1s when all is said and done.

Arriving in a Black, Hemp, and Metallic Red Bronze color scheme, the Nike Book 1 Haven is given a Black canvas base that is then complemented by the Metallic Red Bronze Swoosh logos, Booker?s logo on the tongue and a ?96? on the pull tab. A closer look shows that the Black canvas base is paired up with matching hits of nubuck overlays, leather hits and faux fur on the collar and eyestays.
