A Hasta-Colored Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Moire
By SoleInsider
Last offered in Persian Violet, the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Moire is now introduced in new “Hasta” colorway.
Essentially a dark, grayish green/blue tone, the defining hue covers the sneaker’s seamless upper profile which features miniature perforations throughout to ensure sufficient ventilation.
Further detailed with a matching tongue and laces, the model is offset by a crisp white midsole unit that is equipped with its signature air bubble component in the heel for superb cushioning.
I’m biased towards the model. I haven’t purchased this particular build yet, but the revamped upper is solid. This colorway is another appealing offering.

Following a Racer Blue offering, the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra is introduced in another colorway appropriate for the spring/summer season.
Flaunting a combination of black and clear jade across its breathable mesh and synthetic upper, the punctuating tone is also evident on the inner lining to pronounce its design even more.
All resting atop a clean white sole unit with its signature air bubble component in the heel, additional touches are white are seen on the miniature Swoosh branding across its forefoot, tongue label and top eyelets.
Priced at $115, you can purchase a pair at Nike retailers now.
Following hyper jade and violet colorways, the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra BR is offered in another tonal finish, this time consisting of olive.
The model’s defining feature consists of its breathable mesh upper, which ensures sufficient ventilation throughout, a lightweight feel and superb comfort. Essentially flaunting the understated tone across its entirety, the sneaker is finished off with its distinctive air bubble enhanced sole unit.
You can purchase this latest variation at select Nike accounts overseas first, while a stateside release is imminent.
You’ve never seen a Nike Spiridon like this before. Back in 1997 the Nike Zoom Spiridon wasn’t the crème de la crème of the sneaker world so to speak, but it was a formidable running offering that had a unique midsole, and its mesh webbing was reminiscent of the classic Air Max 95. But just in case you weren’t privy to the blown up Swoosh branding of this ’97 retro, know that Nike Sportswear is revitalizing the offering with a more modern tooling. The traditional midsole/outsole unit stays intact but the upper benefits from Flyknit and a sock-like fit for added comfort. While you can’t see all the details on this beautiful white on white colorway, check out a full view below and we’ll keep you updated on this new Spiridon model in the near future.
Money Manziel’s gotta look for another company to pay him because athletics sportswear giant Nike, who has been by his side since before being drafted, officially dropped him as an endorsed athlete. Manziel has yet to live up to the massive hype accrued since being selected as a the cream of the crop a few years ago, but the bigger issue with the young football player is his off-the-field extra-curricular activities that have landed him in the doghouse. Recently, Manziel was also “fired” by agent Drew Rosenhaus based on a condition in their agreement that allowed the agent to terminate their deal within five days of the client being placed in rehab. Manziel was also spotted at Coachella, partying like his old self, which does not instill confidence in his fans or the Broncos. Will Johnny getting cut again? Stay tuned as this downward spiral continues its descent.
In addition to the upcoming Crossover, the Nike Kyrie 2 is revealed in another forthcoming variation, this time with a lifestyle twist.
Flaunting a bright tonal red finish, the bold design is punctuated by a suede mid-foot strap. Maintaining its traditional performance build intact, the featured pair consists of a GS-version.
Further detailed with reflective accents, subtle pink speckling is applied on the full-length sole unit for a more vibrant finish.
Look for this colorway to arrive at select Nike accounts on April 27th.
While the Kyrie signature line hasn’t graduated to the levels of the Elite or EXT, the Kyrie 2 has walked on the creative side with some unique releases like the upcoming “Kyrache” and the unreleased “All-Star” colorway. Later this month, the Kyrie 2 will receive a minor upgrade close to the EXT vest as this “triple-red” concoction makes use of suede materials on the strap. This latest all-red serving by Nike isn’t quite the same as the Air Yeezy 2 that we’ve all come to love, but rather a wine red hue that matches the Cavs uniforms to a tee. Don’t be surprised if Irving laces these up throughout the Playoffs. Release info to come.
Scottie Pippens Nike Air More Uptempo Olympic Is Returning This Summer
By SoleInsider
Twenty years ago, Team USA took home the gold at the Olympic Games in Atlanta in convincing fashion. While no team may live up to the stacked roster of the ’92 Dream Team, the ’96 squad was right behind with guys like Scottie Pippen, Shaquille O’neal, and and Penny Hardaway leading the charge. From that ’96 Games, we fondly remember Scottie Pippen’s Air More Uptempo in a special edition USA make-up, and it turns out Nike will release the shoes later this Summer (possibly July) as we near the Rio Olympics. Are these one of the must-have releases of the year? Stay tuned for more updates.
After spending over 10 years with adidas it kind of comes as a surprise to see both parties go their separate ways, but NBA Commissioner Adam Silver thinks it’s for the better. In a recent interview with SLAM Magazine he was asked if he expects Nike to do anything different in comparison to what adidas is doing now. Here’s his response.
I do. I?ll say we?ve had a wonderful relationship with adidas, but adidas was not endemic to basketball. They are at root a soccer company. I think on the other hand, with Nike, as I heard Mark Parker, the CEO, say, basketball is the soul of Nike. Even in the case of Mark Parker, he grew up in the organization as a shoe designer.
I was out in Beaverton recently and they have in essence an R&D center, where they have prototypes, where they have their equivalent of mad scientists who are noodling different approaches to uniforms: new fabrics, new styles, new fits. I have no doubt wearables will come into the equation. I think they are committed to sports science. They also recognize that we shouldn?t just think of the uniform as a fashion item?that the uniform ultimately directly correlates to performance, including injury prevention. And Nike, again, it?s a season and a half before they will begin being our official on-court supplier. I?m really excited to see what comes. But I have no doubt that they?re gonna once again change the game. That?s who they are. As I said, thank you to adidas, they?ve been wonderful partners. But I think Nike is ready to take it to another level.
From the sound of it the commissioner is looking forward for Nike to “take it to the next level.” Adam Silver also announced that the Nike Swoosh will be placed on the new jerseys beginning in 2017-18.
But now it appears that we’ll be seeing more colorways down the pipeline. Pictured above is a new orange colorway that may remind you of the OG Total Orange pair that released back in 2012. This new release blends together orange and grey on the Flyknit upper with Black detailing on the lateral Swoosh, inner liner and rubber outsole. The medial Swoosh has been done in White along with the midsole.
There is no scheduled release date for this orange, black and grey Nike Flyknit Racer at the moment but we’ll keep you updated once we find out more.
I’m a pretty big fan of the Flyknit Racer so I’m always excited to see new colorways release. Even though I don’t really own any orange sneakers it looks nice on this pair of Racers.

On-Feet Images Of The Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 Laser Black
By SoleInsider
Earlier today we gave you a first look at a couple of new colorways of the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 that are highlighted by their new laser detailing that appears on the toe box and side panels.
Now to help you picture what they’ll look like if you were thinking of buying a pair, we have some on-feet images to show you. The pictures above are only of the black pair for now but they should help you imagine what the Birch pair will look like.
If you’re looking to cop a pair then stay patient because we’re still waiting on a stateside release date as they’re already beginning to make their rounds overseas.
The laser detailing gives the Air Tech Challenge a much better look in my opinion. The black pair is cool but if I were to pick one up it would be the Birch colorway.
