The Nike Air Force 1 Low VacTech Game Royal Is Now Available Internationally

Nike Air Force 1 Low 10 Nike Air Force 1 Low 11 Nike Air Force 1 Low 12 Nike Air Force 1 Low 13

Spring time is here, that means the tonal look on sneakers is in. If you’re looking to pick up a couple of fresh new kicks rocking the tonal look, I suggest you take a look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low VacTech coming in the Game Royal colorway.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low VacTech is one of the latest versions of the Nike Air Force 1 Low model. What makes this pair different from past offerings is the fact that it comes with a suede upper paired up with a seamless VacTech construction that ends up giving the shoe a lifestyle look and appearance. The entire upper, which includes the branding, laces and lining, come in a Game Royal colorway. Making the shoe even more appealing is the corked-out, all-white sole unit that not only provides contrast, but comfort as well. Available overseas, we will let you know if these end up stateside.

Author’s Take

The sole does appear to be corked out, if that ends up being true, that’s really dope. As far as the look of the upper goes, I’m not too crazy about it, but it’s not a bad looking shoe either.

Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll Loves Nike Air Monarchs Because Of His Insanely Wide Feet

Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll caused a hilarious stir when his Nike Air Monarchs popped up outta nowhere and became a fun topic in the sneaker circles. The former USC coach rocks them with pride, and even has a special Seahawks PE colorway that nobody else has. Still, fans think he should change up his shoe game, but after giving another pair of Nike trainers a shot, Carroll is back at it again with the “dad shoe” because they’re wide enough for his feet. He goes on to state that the shoe size doesn’t matter, as long as they’re quadruple E in width, and the Monarch is one of the more well-known shoes produced in those big-foot sizes. Peep the full article on the official seahawks website.

Following lasered iterations, the Nike Roshe One is introduced in another makeup for Spring 2016, as the model is introduced in a new flight weight profile.

As suggested, the low-top sneaker is comprised of a thin perforated upper which essentially promotes a lightweight feel, as well as enabling superb ventilation throughout the entire construction.

The eye-catching volt-like colored upper is further pronounced with pops of pink gracing the Swoosh branding across its side panels and full-length phylon sole unit.

You can purchase this GS rendition of the silhouette at Nike accounts worldwide now for $75.

Author’s Take

I’ll always be an advocate for this silhouette. I like the revamped build of the model but this colorway is too bright for my taste. Still a solid offering for the warm months.

Nike Brings Pendleton Materials To Three Iconic Running Models

Nike Sportswear and Pendleton Woolen Mills have joined forces once again for another set of sneakers including the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and Internationalist. The two world-famous Oregon brands present each classic running silhouette with one of Pendleton’s signature patterned wool uppers, each in coinciding black, grey, and brown colorways. The decidedly dark looks also feature premium black leather trimming to go with the black wool, while hits of blue are also applied to all three models. We’re not really sure why wool-clad sneakers are releasing right before summer, but nonetheless, the latest Pendleton x Nike collection will be hitting select retailers soon.

Fun With NIKEiD: 15 Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit iD Designs With Wacky Nicknames

The Nike Air Presto is a millennial shoe. No, that’s not meant to be an insult for the younger sneakerheads and it’s sure not meant to discourage those over the age of 30 from wearing them, but when they debuted in the early 2000s, they were far different than most things Nike had done up to that point. It’s a tired cliche at this point, but Prestos were bonafide game changers (that sounds like a nickname Nike could have used back then before the term got bogged down and overused).

Prestos were lightweight, sized like t-shirts and came with hilarious nicknames; their irreverence made them beloved. Now every pair of kicks tries to be lightweight and funny with the names to mixed results. So how does Nike separate themselves from the pack again? By slapping Flyknit on the Prestos and letting us pick our nicknames for it.

Nike Air PrestoIn this edition of Fun With NIKEiD, we use the nickname generator on Nike’s Instant Happiness Presto page and come up with the names for our 15 Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit designs. And for more Presto goodness, check out our unboxing of Instant Happiness.

I’ve only golfed a couple of times, but I never purchased a pair of shoes for the course. I’m more inclined towards the recent AJ 9 iteration, but this pair isn’t that bad-looking.

Nike Pairs Kyrie With The Flight Huarache, Both Born In 1992

Earlier in March against the Utah Jazz, Kyrie Irving whipped out a new colorway of the Kyrie 2 that featured a clean mix of white, purple and blue tones. Turns out, the shoe was an homage to the Nike Air Flight Huarache, an iconic basketball shoe designed by Eric Avar that released in 1992. Kyrie Irving was also born in that same year, which creates a perfect flow channel from Huarache to Kyrie 2 considering the Avar’s role in designing the Huarache and the signature logo and Leo Chang’s role as Nike Basketball Design Director today. The shoes will release this June 7th at Nike retailers.

Look For The Nike Kyrie 2 Kyrache Next Month

Nike Kyrie 2 4 Nike Kyrie 2 3 Nike Kyrie 2 Nike Kyrie 2 1

To follow-up on its official look, more images of this forthcoming Nike Kyrie 2 is unveiled, as the model’s distinctive colorway takes inspiration from the iconic Air Flight Huarache that first debuted back in 1992 — the year Irving was born.

Essentially incorporating the recognizable colors and details nodding to the classic sneaker, this pair inherits bold purple and blue color-blocking across its mid-foot strap, tongue and rear section, with an exoskeleton design mimicking the intuitive fit of ancient Mayan sandals.

All juxtaposed against a clean white upper and sole unit, you can find this “Kyrache” pair at select Nike accounts on June 7th for a retail price tag of $120.

Author’s Take

I’m a fan of the sneaker in general but I really like it in this execution. The outcome is solid and this pair should garner a lot of attention.

The Latest Nike Air Max BW Jacquard Goes For The Oreo Look

There aren’t many sneaker models having a bigger year than the Nike Air Max BW. After returning once again in its beloved “Persian Violet” colorway for the OG construction, the “Big Window” Air Max model received a modern upgrade with the ‘Ultra’ treatment we’ve seen on multiple other classic running models. The retooled edition with a cored-out, lighter sole unit and modern construction up top then got yet another tweak with the jacquard textile iterations, which we see again here in this new look. Going with a simple white and black mix, the shoe takes on the popular “Oreo” color scheme for this latest version hitting select Nike Sportswear retailers now.
