The Nike Kyrie 2 Kyrache Is A Tribute To An Iconic Nike Sneaker (Video)

The Nike Kyrie 2 Kyrache is a blast from the past. Not because the look or the tech is taken from another time, but because the shoe pays homage to one of the influential and iconic sneakers in the Nike Basketball library, the Nike Air Flight Huarache. The OG colorway that was worn by the Michigan Fab Five gets transplanted onto the Nike Kyrie 2 and the results are uh, fabulous. Between the Kyrie logo badge getting a slight remix and the colors looking right at home on the silhouette, it’s safe to say this is a sneaker homage that fits.

Following a cappuccino colorway, the Nike SB Stefan Janoski is treated in a USA-themed palette for its newest iteration this Spring/Summer 2016.

Evoking the aesthetic prominently across its entire profile, the low-top silhouette bears the U.S. flag across its canvas composition in a tie-dye effect. The red and white stripes are primarily seen on the toe box and tongue, while a mixture of blue and white to symbolize the stars are prevalent across the side panels and heel to perfectly encapsulate the theme.

Finished off with a crisp white rubber sole unit, you can purchase this standout pair at select Nike retailers starting June 1st.

Author’s Take

I like the simplicity and design of the silhouette. The execution on this pair looks solid, but I’m not really inclined on purchasing this model.

Additional imagery of the upcoming Nike Kobe 11 Elite 4KB Red Horse is provided, as this model will follow up on the previously offered white pair that debuted earlier in March.

As the title implies, the basketball sneaker inherits a mixture of reddish threads across its flyknit upper to define its theme, which flows fluidly from dark to light starting from the rear. Additionally, the toe box sports a multicolored finish to cap off the vibrant build.

Complemented with tonal white accents prominent on the laces, tongue, Swooshes, heel tab and full-length Zoom sole unit — you can purchase a pair at select Nike stores on Wednesday, June 1st for $220.

Utilizing the first-place trophy as the sneaker’s aesthetic inspiration, the model essentially flaunts a mesh and leather upper which is draped in gold. Notable details such as the pineapple trophy top and SWXIX, as well as the address of the All-England Club, are embossed on the tongue.

Offset nicely with white accents on the laces, inner lining and sole unit, expect to find this exclusive pair at select Nike stockists sometime early next month, or before the tournament begins.

Stay tuned for additional updates.

Official Images Of The Nike Air Max Zero Be True

Nike Sportswear surprised everyone by bringing back an early Tinker Hatfield sample (we’re talking pre-Air Max 1 day sketches, here) in the Nike Air Max Zero, but the actual silhouette was designed by Graeme McMillan. We’ve seen only a few colorways release at retail and now Nike is honoring the LGBT community with the release of the Nike Air Max Zero “Be True” on June 1st. The near all-white upper is simple and effective featuring touches of rainbow accents on the visible air unit, heel, and insole for a perfect way to show the Swoosh’s support of LGBT Pride Month. Reflective hints land on the laces for a nice attention to detail. What do you think of the look? Check out a detailed set of images below and stay tuned for more release date updates right here on Sneaker News.

The latest colorway of the Nike SB Blazer Low GT dons a bold upper, making it a dope option for the Spring/Summer. If you’re looking for a bright sneaker, take a look at this dope Nike SB option.

The Grant Taylor rendition of the Nike SB Blazer Low comes with a vibrant red suede upper complimented by the black and white accents found on the vulcanized sole, lining, tongue tag and Nike Swoosh. Adding more of a vibrant feel is the addition of Yellow accents placed on the heel tab and tongue branding. A pair of red laces completes the motif on the shoe. Out now at select retailers, are you looking to pick up a pair?

via: Flatspot

Author’s Take

The SB Blazer, whether it be High or Low is not a shoe that really catches my attention. The color scheme is clean, but it’s still not something I’d consider picking up only because I don’t like the structure of the shoe.

Nice to see Nike showing support to the LGBT community, I just feel like they could have added more color to the shoe. In my opinion, it’s just a little to plain.

On-Feet Shots Of The Nike Cortez Ultra Breathe

Nike Cortez Ultra 1 Nike Cortez Ultra 2 Nike Cortez Ultra 3

The Nike Cortez Ultra Breathe is the best of both worlds. If you like the classic aesthetics of the Nike Cortez, but also like the modern feel that newer shoes provide, the shoe you see has both of those features.

The new take on the Cortez gets rid of the construction you’re used to seeing it with and replaces it with a breezy open-hole mesh upper. The seamless look not only makes it more lighter, but also more breathable which makes it ideal for the current season. A Black upper is contrasted by the hits of White placed on the lining, heel tab an sole unit. Out now for $140 (internationally), are you a fan of this remixed version of the Nike Cortez?

via: Titolo

Author’s Take

I prefer these over the original Cortez. I would never buy a regular pair of Cortez, but I can see myself wearing these. The breezy look is pretty dope.

Author’s Take

I really like the premium look and feel on the shoe. My only complaint would be the metallic hits on the heel tab. I think without it the shoe would look much better.

With warmer days on the horizon, a lot of people’s priority is keeping your feet at a cool temperature. One way to do that is by picking up a pair of sneakers with a woven construction. Need help picking out a pair? May we suggest the brand new Nike Tennis Classic Woven?

Considered a remixed version of the Nike Tennis Classic, the woven version is constructed out of leather and textile to created the woven accents placed on the side of the shoes. The rest of the shoe comes in leather to give the shoe a premium look to it. Coming in Grey or Black, both pairs are contrasted by they White cored-out Ultra sole unit. Author’s Take

The textile material used on woven construction is not really to my liking. I like the fact that theu used a cored out Ultra sole, but overall, it’s only a solid drop for me.

Bright Colors Are Still In For Kids And The Nike Air Max 90

The Nike Air Max 90 was one of the brightest running models to ever release when first introduced in 1990. The original Infrared style was definitely an attention grabber given the bold ‘Radient Red’ hue found throughout the famed creation, but by today’s standards, that OG Infrared aesthetic is tame in comparison to some of the candy-coated releases aimed at the kids. This vibrant graphic-laden grade school exclusive features shades of Photo Blue, Electric Green, and Pink Blast in cartoonish paint dripped graphics while a traditional white mesh base is offset by a scale-like Electric Green texture on the midfoot and Swoosh. It’s the perfect playful vibe for Summer 2016 thanks to a an eclectic color combination fresh out of the early 90s. Available from Sneaker Politics today for $95 USD.
