The Air Jordan 13 Low Chutney will be returning during the Summer of 2017.
Jordan Brand says that the Jordan 13 Low Chutney represents a lifestyle influence on basketball that was started by Jordan with the Air Jordan 9. Tinker Hatfield was the first to introduce alternate versions of a performance basketball shoe in lifestyle colors to the world of footwear.
The shoe features a Black leather and suede upper with Chutney detailing on the side panels, inner liner, outsole, and the Jumpman logo on the tongue. Lastly we have a gold Jumpman logo by the ankle to finish things off.
Look for the Air Jordan 13 Low Chutney to release some time during the Summer of 2017 for a retail price of $175. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

It’s no secret that Jordan Brand looked to the Air Jordan 12 for inspiration when they created the all-new Jordan Trainer Prime.
Bringing the two even closer together are these two new colorways of the Trainer Prime that look to be directly inspired by the “Obsidian” and “Taxi” colorways of the Air Jordan 12. This new cross-trainer from JB features a mesh upper with fused synthetic panels on the mudguard. Additional details include Flywire for a lockdown fit and a bootie construction on the inner liner.
Look for both of these colorways of the Jordan Trainer Prime to arrive at select retailers in the near future for $110 each.

By SoleInsider
Originally released back in 2001, the Air Jordan 11 Low Columbia will be receiving its first retro revival this year.
This latest gallery emphasizes both silhouettes, and the forthcoming 2017 variation essentially stays true to its original counterpart. Interestingly, the new rendition incorporates a slightly more vibrant shade of blue across its patent leather overlays, while the remaining white portion is comprised of premium leather.
Finally, a matching white midsole unit and translucent outsole finishes off the simplistic two-tone design.

Buy, Pass, Wait: Kendrick Lamar x Reebok Club C, Air Jordan 12 Low Max Orange, NMD Restock
By SoleInsider
It’s a sign of the times when a restock or a second (or third) run of a 2015 drop is going to be the most noteworthy sneaker of the weekend, but when it’s arguably the most important sneaker of the past few years not named Yeezy, you can be forgiven for not caring too much about the latest Jordan retro or even Kendrick Lamar’s latest with Reebok. The adidas NMD OG is back and it’s part of our Buy, Pass, Wait feature as we talk about the big sneaker releases coming today and on Saturday.
Air Jordan 12 Low Max Orange
Nike
Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (PASS) With the Playoff 12 Lows dropping a few weeks from now, this feels like a throwaway release that will just sit in stores before the price drops. The Nubuck upper has been hit or miss on the 12s and it looks like this one in particular falls in the latter category.
Renz Ofiaza, News: (WAIT) You can’t go wrong with this color combination. I don’t like the model much in low-top form, but, in certain colorways, I’ll consider. For this pair, I’d purchase at a lower price.
Juan Carrillo, News: (PASS) Unlike other low top Jordan retros, the Air Jordan 12 Low is actually not a bad looking model. With that being said, I need something with a little more color on it. The Black/Orange look is a bit too plain in my opinion and it’s not something I see myself wearing often or at all.
Andres Carrillo, News: (PASS) I’m a big fan of the original mid Air Jordan 12 but the low is a not a good look to me. Didn’t Jordan Brand give us enough 12 already last year? I guess not.
Kendrick Lamar x Reebok Club C
EIC Juan: (GOT ‘EM) I’m not as sold on them as I was the first few Classic Leather releases last year, but I like them enough to cop even if I wasn’t seeded a pair. It’s a great start to Kendrick and Reebok in 2017 and hopefully things will only get better from here.
Renz: (PASS) Aesthetically, it’s a great looking pair. The design is timeless and this model is pretty versatile. I’m just not too keen on it though.
News Juan: (PASS) I like how they opted to use acid washed denim on the upper., it gives it character and a unique look. It’s a solid looking shoe, but I don’t see myself picking it up. Regardless, Kendrick Lamar continues to release dope collabs with Reebok.
Andres: (PASS) The acid wash denim upper looks good, but I can’t say that I like the Club C silhouette. This would be at the bottom of the list for me as far as Kendrick Lamar x Reebok collaborations go. I do like the overall message and theme of unity though, kudos to K.Dot for that.
adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 (Mystery Red or Trace Cargo)
adidas
EIC Juan: (Trace Cargo) I think I’m losing my mind here but the “cargo/urban” green motif that has been making its way across the multiple brands is actually… wait for it, growing on me. Ugh, now that I got that horrible revelation out of the way, I would rather cop the cargo colorway of the Ultra Boost 3.0 because I’m not feeling the shade of red on the Mystery colorway.
Renz: (Trace Cargo) One of the best iterations of the silhouette so far this year. I like the subtle detailing on the TPU heel, but this colorway is a must-have in general.
News Juan: (Trace Cargo) Either will be good, but being that I just got a Burgundy Boost Uncaged, I’d rather switch it up a bit and go with the Trace Cargo. I’m a sucker for Olive colored sneakers, and there’s no denying that it looks great on the model.
Renz: (Trace Cargo) If I had to pick I would say Trace Cargo. It’s hard not to like an olive Ultra Boost and the new heel counter looks pretty dope.
adidas NMD OG Restock
adidas
EIC Juan: (GOT ‘EM) I have the first release and the random re-release last year that may or may not be the same thing as this weekend’s restock, so I’m not short on OG NMDs. That being said, if I had the chance to cop again I absolutely would because it’s still the best iteration of the NMD in the same way that people will buy Banned Air Jordan 1s again and again because it’s the best.
Renz: (BUY) The one that started it all. You can never overlook the original pair and this model is certainly one that will be timeless.
News Juan: (BUY) The first colorway that started the NMD revolution is still one of the best colorways the model has ever dropped. I remember when the shoe dropped I really like the simplicity of the colorway. More than one year later, I still have the same feelings about it. Glad to see the shoe make a return, good luck getting a pair.
Andres: (BUY) I know I’ll have no chance at getting these, but if I did I wouldn’t think twice about grabbing a pair. I still don’t own any NMDs to this day but this is a pair I’d love to have.
Under Armour Curry 3 Flight Jacket
Under Armour
EIC Juan: (WAIT) See how the military green is really becoming a think I actually like? A year ago I would have given this a hard pass but now I’m looking at it and it’s not so bad. If the end game of all this is me buying clothes that make me look like an extra from The Book Of Eli please shoot me.
Renz: (PASS) The theme is nicely done. I actually like the more stealthier look and the orange detailing kept on the inside (just like a jacket), in addition to just subtly throughout. I’m still not tempted in purchasing this model though.
News Juan: (PASS) I’m still waiting on a Curry 3 that will blow me away. This one isn’t it. Way too plain. Easy pass.
Andres: (PASS) Another underwhelming colorway of the Curry 3. Didn’t Under Armour already release an all-black pair? They need to start getting more creative before people forget that the Curry 3 even exists.
The Shoe Surgeon Works His Magic On The Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard
By SoleInsider
When it comes to the quality of materials (leather) used, the Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard is considered one of the best Jordan Brand drops in quite some time. The soft supple leather used on the upper goes unmatched. So what can possible be done on the model to make it look better, quality-wise? Enter the Shoe Surgeon.
Known for taking a dope and making it even doper (is that even a word), the Shoe Surgeon completely transforms the Air Jordan 1 and makes it into a true work of art. The LA-based artist gives the classic all-leather Air Jordan 1 colorway a brand new look by giving it a premium black nubuck upper and pairing it up with a burnt Orange python on the heel and toe. As a finishing touch, he also utilizes White goat Italian leather to add even more of a premium feel to them. Want a pair? Word has it that The Shoe Surgeon will be releasing a total of 10 pairs on January 20th. Head on over to his site for more info on how to secure a pair.
