The Jordan 5 has been a lifestyle classic since it debuted in 1990, so it makes perfect sense that Jordan Brand would rethink the silhouette for a premium, Pinnacle-esque release for Summer 2017. Today we get a look at just that, as the Jordan 5 Premium will release in a new Pure Platinum colorway featuring elevated materials like a woven leather side panel instead of the usual mesh insert, an updated ‘Flight’ tongue tag, and raised Jumpman branding on the tongue. We’ve seen this look before in a military-inspired release earlier in the year, known as the Jordan 5 “Take Flight”, priced at $400.
