The Air Jordan 6 Infrared is one the model’s most iconic colorways. Some would say it’s the best one of all time. With that being said, how does the Air Jordan 6 UNC match up with the Infrared colorway.

As you can see in the images above, both options are almost identical when it comes to color scheme/color blocking. The only major difference is the choice of accent color (Blue or Red) use on areas such as the stripe on the heel pull tab, midsole, lace lock and Jumpman branding. Which finish are you feeling the most? I guess it all comes down to preference, right? I’m usually a fan of Blue over Red, but in this case the Infrared pair is far to classic to pass up on. Still, the Air Jordan 6 UNC should not be overlooked.

Releasing early next month, today we take a look at the official images of the grade-school exclusive Air Jordan 5 GS Deadly Pink.

Said to be a girls colorway, this version of the Air Jordan 5 features a Black nubuck upper that also comes with a ribbed textured tongue. Creating some contrast and giving the shoe a bit of a bold touch is the Deadly Pink hue noted on the inner tongue as well as on the shark teeth across the White midsole. Completing the main features of the shoe is the icy translucent outsole, Black laces and tonal Jumpman branding.

Earlier in the week we showed you a collaboration between rapper Travis Scott and Jordan Brand with the creation of the Jordan Trunner LX Cactus Jack. So what was the inspiration behind the colorful collab? The official Jordan Blog caught up with Travis Scott to find out.

What?s the story behind the color way?

?I didn?t want to do anything traditional. I?ve never seen the Trunner with so many colors on it.  I wanted something different; to see that model differently.?

What?s the next place you?ll be rocking the ?Cactus Jack??

?Not sure. I gave my pair away to a kid who followed my car 30 blocks to the venue. He was waiting after the show. I had to give him something ? I signed them and handed them right over to him. He earned them. Reggie I need more pairs!?

After getting out first look at the all-new Air Jordan 5 Premium in the Wine colorway yesterday, new images have surfaced of this luxurious version of the Jordan 5.

Jordan Brand has already released a couple of premium Air Jordan 5s this year so it’s not much of a surprise to see another colorway surface. This pair definitely looks premium as the entire upper has been covered in a premium glossy burgundy leather that even runs down to the midsole and up to the tongue with perforations being placed on the side panels. Giving the shoe more of a premium feel and look are tan quilted inner liners and insoles, and a leather “Flight” lace lock. A translucent outsole finishes off the look on this Pinnacle/Premium colorway of the Jordan 5.

There is no exact release date yet, but the Air Jordan 5 Premium Wine is currently expected to release some time during Fall/Winter 2017 for $400. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Rocking a fresh new finish, these versions of the Jordan Trunner LX comes with tonal uppers placed on top of a gum outsole. The first air opts for a Midnight Navy finish, while the second pair goes with a Black motif. We still don’t have a solid release date for the upcoming Air Jordan 6 Gatorade, but today we bring you what may be our best look yet at the shoe courtesy of some on-feet shots.

This new colorway of the Air Jordan 6 draws inspiration from Michael Jordan’s “Be Like Mike” Gatorade commercial that released back in 1991. The shoe features a Carmine-like setup but instead of using red it has been swapped out for Team Orange. Some of the finer details that bring the theme alive include the Gatorade lightning bolt on the lace lock that is meant to mimic the brand’s squeeze bottles, “If I Could Be” written inside the tongue, and Gatorade branded insoles. Black and green accents have been added for further contrast.

Turns out Jordan Brand decided to release the original Obisidian 12s and decided to sit on these. Although they never released to the public, sample pairs do exist and we’re going to let you know how you can get your hands on a pair.

The Air Jordan 12 Obsidian Nubuck sample comes with a nubuck upper with textured leather overlays. The rest of the shoe appears to mimic the style of the Air Jordan 12 Obsidian that released. Reports insist that this version of the 12 almost released back in 2012, are you happy or mad that they didn’t? Want this size 9 pair? They’re currently listed for $1,499.99 on eBay.
