A new hybrid model will be making its debut in 2024. Dubbed the Air Jordan 2/3, let’s see what this sneaker is all about and where it gets its inspiration from.

The Air Jordan 2/3 is a fusion silhouette that basically combines the upper of the Air Jordan 2 Low with the sole of the Air Jordan 3. This model was created as a way to pay homage to Michael Jordan’s signature kicks with his iconic jersey number, 23. Previewed in a clean White, Varsity Red, Sail, and Cement Grey color scheme, the sneaker features a White upper constructed out of a combination of reptile and smooth leather, while Varsity Red accents are strategically placed throughout, including the TPU heel counter, trim, the Wings tongue branding, lining, insoles, and the midsole. It’s been a cool minute since the Air Jordan 9 Powder Blue got the retro treatment. Having made its debut in 1994, the Air Jordan 9 Powder Blue also last released in 2010. Now it looks like Jordan Brand will be giving the sneakers the retro treatment in 2024.

The Air Jordan 9 Powder Blue nods to Michael Jordan?s college playing days in the University of North Carolina. Returning for its 30th anniversary, the Air Jordan 9 Powder Blue comes dressed in a White, Black, and Dark Powder Blue color scheme. Returning in true OG form, the Air Jordan 9 features a White leather upper with Black accents on the tongue, eyelets, liner, Jumpman on the midsole, and heel pull tabs. The Powder Blue hits land on the midsole, tongue branding, and heel. Completing the look is a White rubber sole. Also worth mentioning, unlike the 2010 pair, the 2024 pair will not include the #23 embroidered on the heels to match its OG 1994 release.

Dubbed the Air Jordan 11 Low Diffused Blue, this new Air Jordan 11 Low will come dressed in a White/Midnight Navy-Diffused Blue-Football Grey color scheme. Design details include a White mesh upper that is then offset by the Diffused Blue hits that land on the mudguards. UPDATE (12/27): During a recent SNKRS Live event that showcased the Air Jordan Retro Spring 2024 Preview, Hugo Mendoza, the brand director of Awake NY, was seen wearing an Awake x Jordan Brand varsity jacket. He also announced a collaboration between Awake NY and Jordan Brand that is scheduled to release in 2024. No specific details about the collaboration were announced, but there is speculation that the collab will be the Awake NY x Jordan Air Ship you see below. Stay tuned for official updates.

Another Trophy Room x Air Jordan collaboration is on the way as we just got word that two different Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG releases will be taking place in 2024. Below you will get a detailed look at the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG in the Away colorway.

The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG collaboration includes two colorway of the model (Home and Away) that draw inspiration from Michael Jordan?s 1986 Fleer Basketball rookie card as well as a 1984 Sports Illustrated photo featuring him in Bulls gear alongside the ?Black Toe? AJ1. Both the Home and Away colorways are given a ?Reverse Black Toe? colorway, but what really makes them stand out is the use of polyester fabric on the toe that is meant to replicate the vintage jersey materials. A closer look unveils a ?Wings? symbol on the heels in addition to Jordan?s signature on the lateral heel. Trophy Room?s logo on the quarter panel, and collaborative branding on the mismatched sockliners matching the colors of the outline of the rookie card further add to the collaborative feel of the sneaker. Black embroidered Swooshes on the side panels, a leather base and what appears to be corduroy on the heels is also part of the design. Additionally, each pair will come with White, Yellow, and Black lace sets.

That all changed as Marcus Jordan publically provided details surrounding his latest collab with Jordan Brand. Marcus was recently a guest on the latest episode of The Sneaky Link Podcast. During this episode Marcus did in fact confirm that a Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG collaboration was in the works and even hinted at the possibility of two different colorways being part of the collab. As of right now, the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG is slated to release on February 15th for the retail price of $140 at Trophy Room, select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike SNKRS.

Another fall 2024 release has surfaced as reports say there will be a new Air Jordan 3 “Cement Grey” dropping to the masses.

Previewed below, the Air Jordan 3 Cement Grey is given an official color makeup of Summit White, Fire Red, Cement Grey, and Black. Design details include a Summit White leather construction on the upper with Cement Grey detailing hitting the top eyelets, outsole and a portion of the midsole. Next we have Fire Red accents onJumpman logos on the tongues along with dark elephant print hitting the eyestay, toe and heel overlays. Sail and Summit White take care of the rest of the rubber midsoles, while more hits of Black take care of the lining and Jumpman branding on the heels.
