The Gatorade x Jordan Brand collection is dope. As a kid who grew up in the 90’s, this is nostalgia at its best. Michael Jordan really made me believe that if I gulped down an entire bottle of Orange Gatorade, I’d be just like him. No matter how many bottles I drank, my fadeaway and vertical leap never seemed to improved. Maybe I should have practiced more, ha. The Air Jordan 6 Like Mike is a brand new Gatorade-inspired colorway of the model that has all kinds of retro feel to it, which is always a good thing if you ask me. The upcoming SoleFly x Air Jordan 17 Lightning Low leaked quite some time ago, but today we bring you our best look yet at the eye-catching collaboration.

This collaboration is a nod to Michael Jordan debuting the Air Jordan 17 Low Lightning at the 2002 NBA All-Star Game. Now SoleFly will be releasing an alternate version in February 2018. The SoleFly x Air Jordan 17 Low Lightning features a vibrant yellow leather on the majority of the upper with black leather detailing on the eyestay and a matching inner bootie. Finishing details include a smoky black midsole, SoleFly and Jumpman branding on the heels, and chrome accents on the heel counter and eyelets.

The Air Jordan 13 Altitude was first seen in 2005 made out of leather and then retroed in 2010 but with a mesh upper, but now it’s coming back in its original makeup for the holidays and for the whole family. Said to be a part of next year?s 2018 Black History Month Collection, this new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Flyknit comes covered in a Black Flyknit on the majority of the upper. The Black base is then offset by the Green and Red Flyknit hitting the ankle/heel and toe region. The heel is Green-heavy but also has hits of Red while the toe is covered in Red and offset by the Green speckling. The Pan-African flag inspired tongue comes with Gold Nike branding. A tri-colored rubber outsole, Black leather detailing on the Swoosh and Wings logos, BHM branding on the inside of the tongue, and a White rubber midsole are also in play.

The city of Los Angeles will be hosting the 2018 NBA All-Star weekend this season which means the bright lights will be shining a little brighter this February in the city of angels. Jordan Brand will be releasing a special colorway of the Air Jordan 1 to help celebrate the occasion.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG All Star Los Angeles features a Black premium tumbled leather dominating the upper with smooth leather detailing on the ankle and the Swoosh logo on the side panels. Contrasting gold is then placed on the Swoosh outlining, the Wings logo on the ankle, and the Nike Air branding on the tongue. Finishing details include black rope laces, insoles displaying a map of Los Angeles, a white midsole, and an icy blue translucent outsole.

At the moment the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG All Star Los Angeles is expected to release on January 10th 2018 for a retail price of $160.

Jordan Brand is paying homage to Michael Jordan’s partnership with Gatorade from the early 90s, specifically the “Like Mike” commercial that debuted in 1991 and captured a generation, with a handful of releases this month.

First up will be the Air Jordan 6 Like Mike which arrives in color combination of Summit White, Black, and Gatorade Orange and green, in a color blocking inspired by the “Carmine” colorway MJ wore during the commercial. Some of the finer details of this sneaker include a squeeze-bottle-inspired lace lock, sockliner graphic and embroidered “If I Could Be” detailing on the inside tongue complete the tribute.

The Eminem 4s, also known as the Air Jordan 4 Encore is one of Jordan Brand’s most rarest releases of all-time. Said to be limited to only 50 pairs, the shoes were made for Eminem’s Friends and Family to celebrate the release of his ?Encore? album. Now there’s a rumor circulating around the internet that the shoes could end up releasing to the public. Although that appears to be true, it’s definitely not going to be your ordinary “release”.

Above you will see a pair that’s very similar to the Air Jordan 4 Encore. This is actually a retro version that made Eminem recently wore on SNL. As some of you may know, last year Eminem teamed up with StockX to giveaway the Air Jordan 4 Carhartt as a grand prize. Now it looks like both parties will be teaming up again to release/give away a pair(s) of the Air Jordan 4 Encore retro you see above. Being that Eminem’s Revival album releases in a few days, don’t be surprised if these shoes are given away/released/put up for auction sooner rather than later.
