During the 2017 Holiday season Jordan Brand released a handful of retros in “Wheat” colorways that included the Jordan 1, Jordan 6, and Jordan 13. But what if JB would have included the Air Jordan 11 in the collection? Well up above we take a look at “what could have been” with this Air Jordan 11 Wheat sample. This Air Jordan 11 comes with a wheat suede upper and a tonal textured patent leather mudguard. Other details include a metallic gold Jumpman on the ankle, a white midsole, and a semi-translucent gum rubber outsole.

If these would have made it to retail would you have copped a pair? At the moment there’s no plans for this Wheat 11 to drop to the public.

In 2017 Jordan Brand took what is perhaps their most iconic silhouette, the Air Jordan 1, and created a Flyknit version of the sneaker. While the shoe received mixed reviews, it appears that we’ll be seeing more Air Jordan retro models get the Flyknit treatment in 2018.

Up above we get a first look at what is believed to be the Air Jordan 6 Flyknit. The shoe eliminates the traditional leather/nubuck/suede that we see on the upper and replaces it with a lightweight and breathable Flyknit material. Other details include a heel pull tab, heel counter, Flywire cables on the side panels, and the traditional Air Jordan 6 midsole and outsole.

The Air Jordan First Class is a new lifestyle silhouette from Jordan Brand it offers lightweight, responsive cushioning for all-day comfort and a signature look. The model is colored in medium olive next and the style is similar to other models like the Jordan Eclipse and Jordan Fly ?89 models. Bright crimson accents are used for the eyestays for contrast while a marbled pattern is seen on the tongue. A white rubber sole with visible air cushioning in the heel completes the design altogether.

The new Jordan Fly Next was introduced in colorways of White/Black and Black/Red, but Russell Westbrook?s next signature shoe is also coming in an Oklahoma City-inspired theme. Orange colors most of its design with contrasting blue accents while the sneaker sports a shroud covering the lacing system. The model is highlighted with Westbrook?s ?Why Not?? slogan on the tongues, ankle straps, and an emblem on the insole, while a striped heel and white outsole completes the design altogether.

The SoleFly x Air Jordan 17 Low Lightning is a nod to Michael Jordan debuting the ?Lightning? Air Jordan 17 Low in the 2002 NBA All-Star Game. The collab with SoleFly is said to be an ?Alternate? version of that very same sneaker. The shoe comes dressed in a bold Lightning (Yellow) leather upper accented by the Black and Metallic Silver placed throughout the upper and sole unit. The Black on the eyestay and collar appear to come with a bit of a reptile texture that further adds to the luxe design of the shoe.

This Air Jordan 11 Blackout edition was first seen as part of the Air Jordan Blackout Sample collection from 2011 and now Jordan Brand looks to bring the silhouette back next year for a general release. The 2018 version will basically be in the very same theme as its 2011 counterpart. This is not the Air Jordan 1 Gold Top 3 but it’s really close to looking like it. This new Air Jordan 1 Gold Toe version of the silhouette is just a bit different. Sporting the very same hues of black, white and metallic gold throughout its smooth and patent leather upper, the main differences with this version are the toe boxes covered in gold along with tonal black outsoles.

Previous rumors were pointing to a January 15th release but the sneaker has received a release update and it’s now pushed to February 2018 that might coincide with the NBA All Star festivities.

Air Jordan Retro models are going to be more limited next year but Jordan Brand already has plans to release an upcoming Air Jordan 4 Retro NRG colorway in April. The sneaker is basically covered in a Raptors-like color scheme that takes inspiration from the Air Jordan 7. No images of the model have leaked yet but it will sport a mixture of black, university red, and court purple color hues on the upper as seen in the photoshop image above.

Drake got an Air Jordan 12 Stone Island custom for his 31st birthday in October, and The Shoe Surgeon is back with another exclusive iteration of the Air Jordan 12 for Drake once more, colored up in all-black.
