We have no new images of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 Cactus Jack to share with you, but it now looks like this limited release has a potential release date.

This collaborative release between the hip hip superstar and Jordan Brand sees the Air Jordan 4 get covered in a University Blue suede/nubuck all throughout the upper with Black and Varsity Red accents on the waffle eyelets, the lace wings on the ankle, inner liner, inside of the tongue, heel, and the outsole. Cactus Jack branding has been placed on the heel as a nod to Travis Scott?s music label. A white midsole and white Jumpman logo on the tongue provides further contrast to the shoe. New info regarding the inspiration/theme of the shoe suggests that the shoe pays homages to Travis Scott’s former favorite NFL team the Houston Oilers.

For quite some time, the Air Jordan 4 NRG Raptors was rumored to be releasing sometime during the month of April. With less than a week to go in April, that no longer appears to be the case. The latest rumored release date now appears to be May 12th. So for those o you patiently waiting, you’re going to have to wait a couple extra weeks.

This new colorway of the Air Jordan 4 utilizes an OG Toronto Raptors color scheme. The shoe is basically covered in a black suede upper for a premium look and contrasting court purple, and red accents are applied throughout to give it that Raptors theme. Adding a bit of a luxe feel to the design of the shoe is the use of a suede tongue tag fully equipped with a embossed Jumpman. A speckled midsole mixed with a black and red rubber outsole finally completes the design altogether.
