The silhouette is said to be a nod to Westbrook?s time at Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, California. The Air Jordan 5 Paris will not be the only signature Jordan model paying tribute to the PSG, Paris Saint-Germain Football (soccer) Club. It looks like Jordan Brand will also be releasing a Paris-branded Air Jordan 1 right on time for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Paris Saint-Germain will come dressed in a Black cordura (at least that’s what it looks like) upper complimented by the leather accents noted on the Wings and Swoosh branding. Standout features on the shoe include the striped Red, White and Black tongue label and midsole as well as PSG?s team logo placed on the inside of the tongue. Other details on the shoe include insoles that reads ?ici c?est Paris,? which is a chant for PSG that translates to ?here is Paris.?

The Air Jordan 2 Melo originally released back in 2004. That appears to be more than enough time to warrant a rerelease since it appears that Jordan Brand will be bringing back the Melo PE version of the Air Jordan 2 next year.

Said to be a part of Jordan Brand’s forthcoming Spring/Summer 2018 lineup, the original Air Jordan 2 came dressed in a White, Varsity Maize and University Blue color scheme to match the threads of Melo’s former team, the Denver Nuggets. Player exclusive features on the shoe included ?Melo? embroidery along the collar. No word yet if Jordan Brand will give the upcoming release the same treatment. Jordan Brand returns this weekend with some more treats for the ladies as they’ll be dropping two new colorways of the Air Jordan 1 WMNS Rebel.

The Air Jordan 1 WMNS Rebel is a reimagined version of the popular Jordan 1 silhouette that takes on a new look on the upper which includes an all leather construction, new lacing system that wraps around the ankle, and a zipper on the medial ankle for easy on and off. This pair takes on the popular “Top 3” look which combines elements from the legendary “Chicago,” “Royal,” and “Black Toe” colorways and puts them into one shoe. Additional details include “NIKE AIR” branding on the tongues and medial side panels, white midsoles, and mismatching red and blue outsoles.

Ladies can be on the lookout for the Air Jordan 1 WMNS Rebel Top 3 to release on Saturday, May 19th for $145.

From the images featured, the sneaker will basically sport the same theme as first seen in 2004. The Melo-inspired silhouette is a tribute to Carmelo Anthony?s career beginnings with the Denver Nuggets, and colored in a Nuggets colorway.
