The Jordan 1 you see above is not for sale. It’s actually a PE version of the model that was designed by the Jordan Brand NRG team and Millad Mesriani.
Millad Mesriani is a cancer patient who happens to have a deep passion and love for sneakers. One of his dreams in life was to have his very own Air Jordan 1 PE. Thanks to Make-A-Wish foundation and Jordan Brand, his dream became a reality.
Millad recently shared his Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG NRG PE on his IG with a caption that read: ?Idk where to start. About 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with a cancer that had never been seen before. Throughout all the physical and emotional suffering, the last thing I wanted was for strangers to feel bad for me just by looking at me. Instead of hiding my bald head under a beanie, I embraced it. I found confidence through my sense of style. As long as I had my new Jordan?s on, everything would be okay. Sneakers and fashion became a way for me to escape the reality of cancer. Now fast forward a few years, I have my own pair of Air Jordan 1s that have never been seen before. This is much more than just a sneaker. To me, this is a symbol of my fight. These sneakers are the literal light at the end of the tunnel.?
Millad’s Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG NRG PE opts for Black Toe color blocking with details that include the debossed Wings and sword logo on the upper collar and ankle, a Black and White base contrasted by the Blue patent leather on the Swoosh, ankle collar and tongue tag. By the looks of the images, the White undelays appear to be done in 3M fashion. Don’t overlook those Gold hangtags either. Pretty dope, right?
Get a good look at Millad’s Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG NRG PE and go ahead and give hime a follow on IG while you’re at it.
