Jordan Brand is celebrating the upcoming ?Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” film by releasing a special Air Jordan 1 alongside the movie.

Known as the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Origin Story, this Chicago-esque colorway of the Jordan 1 is a tribute to the Air Jordan 1s that character Miles Morales is wearing in the movie. The shoe comes covered in the classic Chicago-inspired theme with gym red, white, black and photo blue accents. A textured reflective upper, followed by an iridescent-styled Nike Air tongue label, wings logo on the ankles and an icy crystal clear outsole completes the design.

First rumblings of this Air Jordan 4 came back in July. Today we get our first actual leaked look at the shoe which comes with an added feature that we did not expect.

Dubbed the Air Jordan 4 Laser SE Black Gum, this new colorway of the Jordan 4 features an all-black leather upper that has then been hit with laser graphics all throughout. The rest of the upper has been done in black with the exception of the Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel, which are left white, and the “Flight” branding on the tongue that comes in red. A white midsole and gum rubber outsole finish off the look.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High Matcha is an ultra-limited release of the timeless retro silhouette that is constricted out of luxurious leathers and premium details. The creation is a passion project combining artist/photographer Ryustyler?s vision of a ?Matcha? concept shoe with the incomparable skills and expertise of leading bespoke sneaker customizer Chase Shiel. What you end up getting is a symphony of color and texture, with four subtle shades of green symbolizing the different tastes and textures of Japanese matcha.

Matcha is a tea grown only in Japan and used in powdered form. The preparation of matcha, from stone-grinding the finest grade leaves to make the tea powder, to the intricate and ancient practice of the traditional tea ceremony, is an exercise in craftsmanship and artistry. The concept of this shoe was inspired by the beauty and elegance of the Japanese tea ceremony, which elevates the simple act of drinking tea into an art by focusing on the perfection of each detail. Translating this attitude into sneaker reality meant elevating a classic silhouette by sourcing premium materials like Japanese nubuck and handcrafting each pair with a number of luxe details.

The body of the shoe is made from four premium leathers in different shades, including nubuck and pigsuede leathers that were custom dyed in Japan to create the specific shade of matcha green. An all-leather interior lining and sock liner offers luxurious comfort, and the gum sole creates a contrast that is meant to evoke the natural shades of bamboo wood used to create tea ceremony tools. No detail is overlooked, from Italian-woven cotton heel tabs to a Fragment-inspired Matcha embossing stamp at the heel.

Cream laces featuring gold aglets and custom engraved dubraes by @lacespace which read ?Matcha? in English and kanji and also laser engraved tongue tags done by @Burkeworksau. Included with each pair is and authentic bamboo tea whisk and an embroidered vegan suede dust bag.

Who’s ready for more Travis Scott x Air Jordan collabs? According to py_rates, a Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 Medium Olive collab is slated to drop Spring/Summer of 2019. Although no images of the collab have leaked, it is being reported that the shoe will come dressed in a Medium Olive, Black, Sail, and University Red color scheme. The shoe is expected to come in an Olive upper with Black detailing and Red contrasting accents on the branded areas all while sitting on top of a Sail midsole and translucent outsole. Expect ?Cactus Jack? branding somewhere on the shoe.
