Perhaps the most anticipated Jordan retro of 2022 (at the moment) was also officially unveiled today, we’re talking about the iconic Air Jordan 12 Playoffs. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Air Jordan 12, this legendary “Playoffs” colorway will return to retailers during NBA All-Star Weekend. Staying true to the OG, the 2022 version of the Air Jordan 12 Playoffs will come equipped with OG everything ? leather upper, mudguard, carbon fiber shank plate, everything. The timing of this releases points back to when the shoe debuted in Cleveland during All-Star Weekend in 1997. The White and Black leather upper is joined by Varsity Red Jumpman logos on the tongue, silver upper eyelets, and a white rubber midsole and outsole. Look for the Air Jordan 12 Playoffs to land at retailers on February 19th for a price tag of $200.

Another women’s-exclusive Jordan retro that was officially unveiled today is the Air Jordan 5 Low WMNS “Arctic Orange” seen below. Ideal for the spring and summer seasons, this new colorway of the Air Jordan 5 Low takes a vibrant approach as the shoe gets covered in Arctic Orange all over the upper with more tonal detailing seen on the tongue, laces, and inner liner. For contrast and another punch of color we see the addition of Siren Red (pink) on the lace lock, Jumpman branding on the tongues, and midsole. Black then hits the Jumpman logo on the heels, the heel counter, and the shark teeth on the midsole. Jordan Brand has officially unveiled their Spring 2022 retro lineup which includes lots of different silhouettes in new and exciting colorways. One of the silhouettes that you can always expect Jordan Brand to include in their annual collections is the Air Jordan 1 High OG with one of the 2022 colorways being this “Brotherhood” pair seen below. This new Air Jordan 1 High OG is believed to pays homage to Michael Jordan’s fraternity Omega Psi Phi that he joined during his days at UNC. Founded on November 17th, 1911, Omega Psi Phi is the first fraternal organization founded at a historically black university. This Air Jordan 1 takes on a University Gold, Purple, and White color scheme as the shoes comes with White on the leather side panels, nylon tongues, and midsole contrasted by Gold and Purple overlays.
