We got our first look at the DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 We The Best Collection back in April. At that point it was unclear whether the latest collab between Khaled and Jordan Brand would be releasing to the public. Today we got updates for y’all regarding which colorways will be releasing.

The DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 ?We The Best? Collection includes four different colorways of the model. Done in Sail, Crimson Bliss, Polar and Court Purple, each pair comes equipped with leather uppers and contrasting pastel accents throughout the shoe. Design highlights include quilted inner liners with ?Keep? and ?Going? labels on the inner tongues, ?WE THE BEST? and ?NIKE AIR? branding on the heels, and translucent outsoles with the ?WE THE BEST? logo underneath the right shoe. Each sneaker will also come housed in a special box/packaging. The sneakers will also be accompanied by a matching apparel collection.

As far as the release info for the collection, according to zsneakerheadz, the DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 We The Best in both the Sail and Crimson Bliss colorways will be releasing to the public later this year. Whereas the Polar (Blue) and Court Purple colorways are said to be Friends & Family exclusives. Stay tuned for confirmed release dates.

In Nike news, the Nike Air Force 1 Low LA Flea debuts on July 16th.

We got a pretty unique iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Mid to share with you.

Said to be a grade-school exclusive colorway of the model, this new makeup of the Air Jordan 1 Mid is done in a White, Black and Orange colorway. What makes this pair unique? Taking a closer look shows that the White leather base is offset by the Black and Orange leather overlays that are finished off with a basketball texture. Want more uniqueness? The Black Swoosh on the lateral side has embroidered flowers and vines growing out of it. Finishing details include the White midsole atop an Orange rubber outsole.

The Air Jordan 12 WMNS “Hyper Royal” is a new colorway of the silhouette that is part of Jordan Brand’s Summer 2022 collection, according to sources. Reportedly sporting an official color scheme of “Hyper Royal/Black-Metallic Silver-White,” the model’s purported makeup is featured in the rendering below with black and blue dominating its leather upper and mudguard. Metallic Silver details with a special graphic underfoot round out the main features of the sneaker.

UPDATE (7/11): Official images of the women’s Air Jordan 12 Hyper Royal have been unveiled. Nike also made it known that this new colorway of the Air Jordan 12 will be celebrating 25 years of Jordan in China, hence the sideways “25” tag on the heel tabs.

UPDATE (7/1): During yesterday’s Jordan Brand?s Fall 2022 collection official unveiling, Jordan Brand officially introduced the Air Jordan 12 WMNS Hyper Royal. A new feature that was not previously unveiled was the special graphic being housed on the outsole done in shades of Pink, Purple and Blue. 

UPDATE (6/28): A few weeks after we let you know that the Air Jordan 12 WMNS Hyper Royal would be making its debut later on this year, we now have a first look at this women’s exclusive Air Jordan 12. Almost identical to the mock-up (see below), details include a Black and Blue leather upper, Silver accents and a White rubber sole. As suggested, the sneaker pays homage to Michael Jordan?s alma-mater, the University of North Carolina. Overall, the low-top dons a ?University Blue/Black-White? color scheme across its leather profile with black and white covering its majority, followed by the highlight blue tone adorning the tongue label, heel area, and rubber outsole.

UPDATE (6/26): The Air Jordan 1 Low OG ?UNC? is scheduled to make its debut on September 28 for a retail price of $130, according to sources. Additionally, while the sneaker’s makeup takes cues from the signature colors of UNC, the style is also reflective of the 2019 Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG WMNS Blue Chill. The Air Jordan 3 Fire Red will make a return in 2022 in OG fashion. Here is a good look at what to expect.

Known as the Air Jordan 3 OG Fire Red, this 2022 version of the model will be designed to look almost identical to the original pair that released back in 1988. This includes Nike Air on the heels, which would be the first time Fire Red 3s come with Nike on the heels when it comes to all retro releases (2007 & 2013 pairs came with Jumpman branding). Another OG feature utilized on this pair will be the Grey-on-Black elephant print used on the overlays. Shown below, this new colorway of the Air Jordan 11 Low IE comes dressed in a Light Orewood Brown, Neutral Grey, White, and Cement Grey color scheme. Fairly simple in design, this tonal iteration of the model consists of a Light Orewood Brown upper with Grey overlays and White hits on areas such as the tongue and toe. Finishing details include the White midsole and milky translucent outsole.

UPDATE (6/27): In-hand images of the upcoming Air Jordan 5 “Concord” courtesy of kenrockgotem which is expected to release on August 13th. The new Air Jordan 5 is highlighted by a white leather upper and it accented by Concord Purple detailing on the inner liner, the shark teeth on the midsole, and the Jumpman logos on the 3M silver reflective tongue, heels, and translucent outsoles.

Update: 6/2022 – The Air Jordan 5 Concord will be making its official debut on August 13, according to reports. Previously, it was scheduled to drop on July 23.

A new variation of the Air Jordan 1 will be releasing later this summer as we bring you a first look at the Air Jordan 1 Low OG EX in a Dark Smoke colorway. Highlighted by a deconstructed aesthetic, this new edition of the Air Jordan 1 Low comes constructed out of a ballistic nylon and leather throughout the upper with exposed padded foam detailing on the underlayers of the upper as well as on the tongues and ankle collars. Did you know that back in the day grade-school Air Jordans were known as Sky Jordans? Take for example the Air Jordan 8, back in they day it was known as the Sky Jordan 8. That being said, back in 1993 Jordan Brand unveiled a sample colorway of the Sky Jordan 8 known as the Paprika colorway (see below). Close to 30 years later, that same sample will be getting a retail release. Here is an official look at the Air Jordan 8 GS Paprika.

Said to be a kids exclusive colorway of the model, the Air Jordan 8 GS Paprika comes dressed in a White, Black, and Red color scheme. Some of the features that stand out (or lack thereof) include the absence of chenille tongue patch and a midsole that replaces the multicolor brushstrokes with a teeth design.

One of several Air Jordan 7 releases celebrating the model’s 30th anniversary this year, this special iteration of the model is inspired by Afrobeats. Afrobeats also known as Afro-pop, Afro-fusion, is an umbrella term to describe popular music from West Africa and the diaspora that initially developed in Nigeria, Ghana, and the UK in the 2000s and 2010s.
