The Air Jordan 3 Fire Red will make a return in 2022 in OG fashion. Here is a good look at what to expect.

Known as the Air Jordan 3 OG Fire Red, this 2022 version of the model will be designed to look almost identical to the original pair that released back in 1988. This includes Nike Air on the heels, which would be the first time Fire Red 3s come with Nike on the heels when it comes to all retro releases (2007 & 2013 pairs came with Jumpman branding). Another OG feature utilized on this pair will be the Grey-on-Black elephant print used on the overlays. ABOUT THE MODEL: The Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red” is loved and embraced by many sneakerheads not simply because people love the Air Jordan 3, but because it’s one of the few OG colorways of the legendary silhouette. This 2022 version of the “Fire Red” 3 will come equipped with the OG “Nike Air” branding on the heel marking the first time this happens since its original release in 1988. Jordan Brand is set to drop a new Air Jordan 5 Low next year known as the Air Jordan 5 Low GS Crafted.

Said to be a grade-school exclusive, this new makeup of the Air Jordan 5 Low will come dressed in a White, Coral Chalk, Desert Berry, and Black color scheme. Yet to be unveiled, you can expect this Air Jordan 5 Low to come dressed in a White leather base offset by the Coral and Berry contrasting accents. An icy translucent outsole is also expected to be part of the design.

Overall, this women?s-exclusive variation incorporates the popular SBB theme while also taking inspiration from luxe Birkin bags. Officially covered in ?White/Starfish-Cacao Wow-Sail,? the premium leather construction consists of a sail base with the highlight orange overlays followed by dark brown adorning the collar section and Wings logo. ABOUT THE MODEL: The Starfish hue has become a fan favorite ever since Jordan Brand utilized it on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Shattered Backboard that dropped way back in 2015. Ever since then, the Orange hue has been used on other Air Jordan 1s such as the Reverse Shattered Backboards, Satin Shattered Backboards and Shattered Backboard 3.0. For 2022 the Starfish theme arrives on the Jordan 1 once more exclusively for the ladies. UPDATE (7/6): We will have to wait for the arrival of the Air Jordan 1 High OG WMNS Starfish a little more than we initially anticipated. This new women’s colorway of the Air Jordan 1 was expected to drop in September, but the latest update now suggests that they will be arriving in October.

Dropping later on this month, here is an official look at the Air Jordan 37 Beyond Borders.

Done in a Light Bone, Fire Red, Dark Concord, and Mars Stone color scheme, the Air Jordan 37 is reflective of its predecessor as it takes design cues from the Air Jordan 7 as evidenced on the ankle collar and outsole. The upper boasts a lightweight and translucent leno-weave material that?s reinforced with an exoskeleton for reinforcement while the midsole bears a double-stacked Zoom bag at the forefoot, in addition to a carbon fiber plate at the midfoot, and the distinctive Formula 23 foam at the heel, all of which is also prominent on the Jordan Luka 1.

Jordan Brand will continue the Air Jordan 2 wave in 2023 as they have already released a plethora of collaborations on the overlooked model throughout 2022. One pair that will be releasing is an all-new women’s “Cool Grey” offering which is expected to take a clean and simple look. While there are no early looks yet, a Mockup by Sole Retriever is seen below of what we can expect. Elephant print will be making its way onto the Air Jordan 11 as there will be an all-new Air Jordan 11 Low “Elephant” releasing during the summer of 2023. UPDATE: 7/19 – Previously suggested to be inspired by the Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red”, an initial look at the forthcoming Air Jordan 4 “Midnight Navy” is now revealed which showcases its actual inspiration deriving from the iconic Air Jordan 4 “White Cement”. The cement theme has been a prominent motif which first graced the Air Jordan 1 and notably the Air Jordan 3, amongst others and it originally appeared on the Air Jordan 4 back in 1989 which was followed by its last retro appearance in 2016.  Overall, the silhouette flaunts the “White Cement” aesthetic across its majority while contrasting navy accents adorn the branded areas, eyelets, and midsole to encapsulate the overall style.

Zion Williamson gives us a first look at the Air Jordan 1 Low OG Voodoo. Dressed similar to the Zion’s Jordan Zion 2 Voodoo, this special iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG comes dressed in a Flax, Muslin, Fauna Brown, Oil Green, Sesame, and Moon Fossil color scheme.

Opting for a mixed material construction, this Air Jordan 1 Low utilized a mix of hemp, canvas, and suede materials throughout its upper. Defining features include the exposed stitching across the overlays, the Voodoo skull logo on the lateral side of the heel, an upside down Nike Air branding on tongue label and upside down Wings branding on the heels. A mini Swoosh on the toe guard, Sail midsole and Gum outsole complete the look.
