The Air Jordan 17 Low made its debut way back in 2002. Much like all the Jordan retros after the Air Jordan 14, this Jordan silhouette is often forgotten in the sneaker community. That said, according to zsneakerheadz, the often overlooked Air Jordan 17 Low will be making a return in 2023.

When the Air Jordan 17 first dropped, it was Jordan Brand’s most expensive Air Jordan to date during that era. The sneaker was Wilson Smith III, as he found inspiration from jazz music while also being equipped with the brand?s first-ever Tuned Air cushioning system. When the Air Jordan 17 Low dropped, it debuted in the three colorways you see below. For 2024, there is no word on if Jordan Brand will be rereleasing those OG colorways, or if they will opt to drop fresh new designs. Design details on the Air Jordan 17 Low include a low-cut design that comes constructed with a leather upper paired with a Dynamic Fit inner sleeve that provides a more supportive fit. The design is also highlighted by the signature chrome strip around the heel while also utilizing an integrated lace-up closure for a lockdown fit. A full-length shank plate, TPU heel stabilizer for support and lightweight phylon midsole with herringbone traction underfoot is also in play.

There is current no confirmed release date for the return of the Air Jordan 17 Low, but current reports have the retro release arriving during Spring 2024 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com.

Are you ready for another Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG collaboration? As all of you know, Union and Jordan Brand linked up back in 2018 to release two of the most popular and recognized Air Jordan 1 collaborations in quite some time. It now appears that a third Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG colorway will be dropping this year. Here is a first look at the Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG Woven.

The two Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG collabs from 2018 got their inspiration from thrifting and the DIY culture. It created a bit of a vintage look that we were not accustomed to seeing, but over time fell in love with. The Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG Woven gets its inspiration from the Nike Air Footscape Woven ? a lifestyle running shoe that is known for its asymmetrical lacing system that debuted in the late 2000s. Done in a Sail, Wolf Grey, Muslin, Pale Vanilla, Kinetic Green, and University Gold color scheme, the Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG Woven is done in an OG-styled ?Neutral Grey? color blocking constructed in a full leather build and decorated with woven detailing that wraps around the entire shoe. Design details include the White upper and Wolf Grey detailing on areas such as the Swooshes, collars, ?Nike Air? tongue tags, the larger Wings branding on the lateral ankle. Also worth pointing out is the exposed Green stitching in the rear, the Green insoles, Union?s ?UN/LA? signature tag on the lateral and a two-tone aged-like rubber sole.

Current reports have this Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG releasing sometime in August for the retail price of $200. Following a short hiatus, Jordan Brand is set to bring back the Jordan Pro Strong in 2023 to celebrate the model’s 25th anniversary. Injected with rich Jordan Brand DNA, the Jordan Pro Strong takes inspiration from some of the brand’s most popular retro models to essentially create a hybrid design. This pair comes done in a color combination of White, Tour Yellow, and Black as the shoe features a White tumbled leather upper with tonal detailing seen on the tongues, laces, and outsole. Contrasting black is then seen on the base of the shoe in leather and mesh while pops of Tour Yellow on the inner liner, trim, and some of the branding wrap up the main details on this Jordan Pro Strong that will be releasing soon for $145.

The hybrid Jordan 6 Rings returns for 2023 with one pair that will be releasing soon being this “Game Royal” colorway. Bringing together elements from the sneakers that MJ wore while winning his 6 NBA Championships, the Jordan 6 Rings is one of the brand’s most popular mashup designs. This pair takes on an official color makeup of White, Black, and Game Royal as the shoe features a Black and White upper in mesh and leather with the same two hues on the midsole and outsole. The Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy” originally debuted back in 2006 and it’s suggested to make its first-ever retro next year, according to sources. Previewed below, the 2023 variation will sport the same color scheme of “Deep Burgundy/Light Graphite-Silver” that was used on the OG pair. The model is defined by its burgundy suede upper that is contrasted by grey accents and silver tongues, while a matching Burgundy midsole and icy outsole rounds out the profile.

Retailing for $210, look for the Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy” at select Jordan Brand stockists and online on September 9, 2023. UPDATE (4/17): Here is a first look at the 2023 version of the Air Jordan 5 Burgundy. Although the first look shows the kicks without laces, we can confirm that the release will come with laces. Look for these to drop on September 9th for the retail price of $225. The sneakers will be available in men?s, gradleshool, preschool, and toddler sizing.

Not to be confused with the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid “Panda”, this Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “Panda Elephant” is now introduced as another notable iteration of the popular silhouette. Slated to debut later this year, the model is draped in an official color scheme of “Off Noir/Black-White-Black” with the majority evoking the Panda theme perfectly. Additionally, the focal point is directed at the suede elephant print Swooshes and collars, while the signature white Wings on the ankle, a matching white midsole and black rubber outsole solidifies the profile.

It looks like Jordan Brand will be dropping OG colorways of the Air Jordan 1 onto the Air Jordan 1 KO Low. Aside from Air Jordan 1 KO Low Bred, you can also expect the Air Jordan 1 KO Low Shadow to debut this upcoming summer season.

As stated above, the Air Jordan 1 KO Low Shadow nods back to the original 1985 Air Jordan 1 High OG Shadow. Dressed in a Black, Sail, and Medium Grey color scheme, the sneaker dons a Black and Grey canvas base paired with Grey suede Swooshes and leather heel overlays. It is also given ?Nike? logos on the tongue tags and insoles alongside Black Wings embroidery on the heels. Finishing features include the Black nylon tongues, the sizing of the sneaker stamped on the inner lining, an aged midsole and Grey rubber outsoles.

Following a look at the Friends & Family Nigel Sylvester x Nike Air Ship Bike Air, it turns out Nigel Sylvester will actually be getting his own retail colorway of the Jordan Air Ship which is previewed below. Dubbed the Nigel Sylvester x Jordan Air Ship ?Every Game?, this collaboration is inspired by how Michael Jordan wore his UNC practice shorts under his Bulls uniform every game for good luck. The sneaker dons a Summit White, Diffused Blue, Chambray, and Sail color combo as the upper features a Summit White cracked leather all over the upper with Diffused Blue placed on the hairy suede Swooshes, eyestays, and heels. Additional details include “Nike Air” branded tongue tags, “Every Game” on the heels replacing the traditional “Nike Air”. To finish off the sneaker we have Sail rubber midsoles, “GO” branding on the insoles, and a darker shade of blue used on the inner liners and rubber outsoles. Early reports have the Nigel Sylvester x Jordan Air Ship ?Every Game? releasing online and at select retailers on May 10th for $140.

Jordan Brand will be releasing a special PE colorway of the Air Jordan 3 which was worn by the GOAT himself during his first season with the Washington Wizards. The Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” will get an official release in 2023 as the shoe closely resembles the OG Air Jordan 3 True Blue. This Air Jordan 3 will come in a White/Metallic Copper-True Blue-Cement Grey color scheme as the shoe will feature a white leather upper with blue and copper accents throughout. Elephant print on the heels, eyestay, and toes round out the main details.

ABOUT THE RELEASE: While playing for the Washington Wizards during the 2001-2002 season, Michael Jordan often wore a modified version of the Air Jordan 3 True Blue that feature copper detailing instead of the customary Red accents. This new colorway was known as Micheal’s Air Jordan 3 Wizards player exclusive (PE). Being that it was a PE, it never dropped in stores or was available to the public. That will no longer be the case as Jordan Brand has decided to finally drop this Jordan 3 PE to the public.

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks missed the NBA Playoffs to everyone’s surprise even with the late season addition of Kyrie Irving. That means we won’t be able to see the young superstar bust out fire colorways of his all-new Jordan Luka 1. One colorway that is dressed for the current spring season is this pair that comes strong with the Easter vibes. Taking on an official color combination of Mint Foam/Racer Pink-Court Purple-Dark Concord-Barely Volt, this Jordan Luka 1 combines teal and purple on the mesh upper which incorporates breathable Flightwire frame cables on the lateral to help contain the foot. The Luka branding on the tongues and insoles are then done in Racer Pink with more of the same hue on the midsole overlay. The Jordan Stadium 90 is one of Jordan Brand’s newest hybrid models as the lifestyle sneaker is inspired by designs from the 90s, specifically those designed by the great Tinker Hatfield. Design highlights on the Jordan Stadium 90 include a mesh, leather, and suede upper, netted side panels, side panel Swooshes, shark teeth on the lateral forefoot, and Nike Air branding on the heels. Previewed in grade school sizing, this new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low comes dressed in a White, Royal Blue, and Black color scheme.
