As it stands right now, the 2025 version of the Air Jordan 5 OG Black Metallic looks to honor the original as it will come meticulously remastered to look as close to the 1990 pair as possible. What you can expect from the classic design include your traditional Black nubuck upper complemented by Metallic Silver accents on the 3M reflective tongues and shark teeth, along with speckled black details on the midsole. The beloved “Nike Air” branding will be housed on the heels, while Fire Red accents will take care of the tongue branding. Other expected features include the “Air Jordan” branding inside the tongue that will be written upside down, while the translucent mesh netting and a visible Air unit in the heels and translucent rubber outsole will also be in play.
